Chartree Forest was once known as Pinedale Forest, and home to many kinds of Pokemon. However, a clash between clans of Grizlare caused the entire forest to catch on fire, and the flames threatened to destroy the nearby towns. Groups of trainers, led by a woman named Torri, were able to contain the flames to Pinedale Forest.
The once-beautiful forest has been reduced to ashes, causing many of the Pokemon that used to inhabit the Forest to leave. However, under Chartree's layer of ashes, the grass and soil is rich with nutrients, attracting many bug and fire Pokemon.
Connected to Softwind City and Cranewing City.
Requirements to proceed to Cranewing City:
2 Trainer Battles
3 Wild Pokemon Battles
