Cacturne are often found in deserts standing completely motionless. If a person passes one, the Cacturne will become a relentless stalker, staying in the edges of one's vision and making strange noises till the person goes insane.

Cacturne have a tendency to stand motionless in the desert waiting for passerbys. If a person in need finds one, the Cacturne will lead them to water, shelter, and safety.

Cactune remain motionless in deserts during the day, but will patrol the desert at night. If they find someone, they will protect and provide for the person and lead them out.

Actually, if you check canon Dex entries on Cacturne, it's usually portrayed as being a stalking predator, not a desert savoir.

I would suggest something about following someone until they eat, and then the Cacturne attacks and eats the food. Or maybe when the traveler finds food or water, Cacturne will eat/drink the food/water to taunt the person.
