Firstly, you may have noticed that Badara, our new programmer, has been going around with a nifty green name. That's because he is our newest Valued Topaz Contributor! Though he got it really quick, I have to admit that he definitely deserves it.
Allow me to demonstrate.

Wait, wait, what was strange in that screenie? Well, it may or may not (actually probably the latter because that will probably later be the bank) mean that there could be some kind of card game built into the game. No, there isn't, is there?

Look at what Badara found in Poccil's! For those who've played FF8, it's basically Triple Triad: Pokemon Style. I'm getting this strange buzzing feeling... It must be all the possibilities that come with minigames! This looks like something for the Game Corner or perhaps there could even be a card game league in Caldera/Kirant! You could find cards around, buy them, win them from people, anything! Soon enough I'll put up a topic where we can discuss possible uses for the game.
Another cool thing built into Poccil's is an overworld battle system, where you get to Jump and Bash Pokemon with other enemy Pokemon. It really sounds like it could fit into Icthyes Game Corner, considering that you could maybe bet on your Pokemon and get Coins to trade in for cool prizes!
Finally, Badara also found a Pokegear system built into Poccil's, including the CD system we wanted. He says he'll try to see what kind of apps he can come up with, and there could be an app store or things like that. PokeApple, anyone?

Also, for the demo there are some things I had forgotten about that still need to be done. Firstly, Professor Willow needs a trainer sprite. Second, we need overworlds (basic walking ones) for Bradley, Simon, Vincent and Professor Willow. Finally, there's move animations! (And maps, but Nokeeo is working on those)
Move animations require you to have RPGMakerXP and Poccil's Essentials Kit, google them up if you want to find them. Poccil's Essentials has a move editor that allows you to make moves, then once you've done one, zip it up and upload it to Topaz Graphics. This is one of the last big things we need to do for the demo, I encourage you all to try it!
And of course, on the forum and website side of things, zeroality has been on a roll. If you check the site you'll see the newsfeed is back up. We have nifty new forum subicons. Lots of our information is back up. IRC is working really well, allowing really productive conversations and such... drop by, you never know when you'll stumble upon the annals of progress!
