Badara's making a new battle interface, but can't seem to find the right colour combination. Could someone?

Could you post the entire interface? Then maybe I could give it a shot.

That's what I said too, but right now the best we can do is probably take the official interface and then do a mockup.

Remember that the colour scheme of the whole interface will possibly be based off of what get's recoloured here.

i'm trying like 3 types, one for rocket, one for Orion, and one for regular, though the regular isn't looking to good right now...

double post, but i got 2 re-colours, one came out really well, the other, not so much...at least, that's what i think...anyway, what do you guys think?

well....hmmm....Badara would have to do that, i guess...just figured that maybe depending on which team you join, the battle interface, would change, like one for Orion, though i couldn't make one, one for rocket, which i got the user HP and such part done, and one for in the beginning when your neutral...idk...

Try a different shade of yellow on the other one. It's kind of bright and bulgy if you know what I mean.

I'm really good at re-colors, I'll give a bit of an effort tomorrow. I'll see what I can do.

Is there any specific colors I need to use for topaz or anything?

It would be nice if they came in a few varities of popular colors(all light), and were customizable.
For the default, I think a nice soft blue would be good.

I don't think we should be trying to recolor anything until we can get a screenshot of the entire interface so we can make it all mesh together. Badara seems to have not been on lately but I'm sure he'll pop up.

What Badara needs more than anything is a palette. That's what the recolour job is for, just to find a few colours that work well together.

Those are from other fan games which I extracted their graphics from. It was mainly to show some stuff people can do with the health bars and backgrounds. Here is an example of what you can eventually mod the interface to look like:

I like the idea that the health bar changes according to which team you pick; however the area one is a tad bit picky in my opinion.

ok, thanks for the feedback, though what do you think of my earlier suggestion for a Team rocket one?Also, the area suggestion was out of nowhere, so it didn't really matter to me...

ohhhhh....gotcha. Sorry bout my flipout...are we gonna have those though? I think the rocket looks good, but one thing I could think of right now is make it less square. either with a slight amount of shade difference or whatever, kinda like the "swineflu" elekid one. U know?
