The current Firrel sprite has been the bane of my existence for a while now D: I keep seeing it and going, no, Topaz will NOT put that in the final ;A; Time and time again I've been making more and more Firrel just to replace it, but none of them were liked. So I just decided to take the old pose, and recycle it. Hopefully you'll like this one better. DPPtHGSS shading based off Raichu.

I don't know what it is but doesn't the body look awfully flat? It kinda looks like a sheet in the wind.

Yeah, a lot of HGSS sprites had that problem. I didn't like it myself, but I decided to try and emulate it anyway xD

Shading is much better. I think the arms are a bit too stubby though, and the head shape looks a little strange.

Head is a lot less deformed with the nose there, and I slimmed the arms down a bit but I didn't want it too skinny since chubby Firrel is cute >w<

I approve of everything except for the trainer sprite (not sure what's wrong with it) but IB has the final say in such matters.

I like the concept. The execution is a little off (The collar looks out of place and the face and hair could use some cleaning up) but I think it's very possible to work that into a really cool sprite.

I like the original version better. The eyes on Quinn's sprite look weird to me.

For the trainer, perhaps the arm extended and pointing in the direction that he's looking? Kinda like "You... you are my next victim."

To get an idea of a 'pointing trainer', there's Wally in RSE. The original Simon sprite had that pose as well, if anybody remembers that.

While Kraklaw is indeed badass and awesome (badawesome?), there doesn't seem to be any sort of shading on the front sprite (or maybe there is shading, but it's just really weird weird, either one). Front tentacles could possibly use some splotches on them, or else they look kinda plain.

I didn't notice that before but the area below his face (chest?) does look flat due to non-existent shading. The tentacles are nicely done though, except for the one directly below his beak (the one next to the closed claw). It looks weird in that area.

I think the head and upper area are good. Unless IB can come up with a more popular sprite, I think we have a winner when these things are fixed.

I agree with BTG, Firrel is way better than the current one we have. Really, I'm looking at the sprite and I can't seem to find any faults.

I'm neither against it, nor for it. It is just one of those things that I could care either way. Kraklaw is different in my eyes though ;)

I really want to update the site Pokedex with X-A's Firrel and Kraklaw sprites.

Firrel is pretty much perfect imo, so if nobody has any objections...can someone transparentize the background? Or is there one already?

As for Kraklaw, I like it but as said before, the shading still needs some work, and I can spot a few things that can be improved on (namely, it looks a bit too fat right now compared to the concept art). If anyone's willing to have a go at editing this, be my guest.
