CLEFABLE's seemingly useless wings lend support to the theory of their lunar origin. The lower gravity on the moon would be low enough for the wings to lift CLEFABLE.

I personally quite liked it. And, can't we say that Clefable, maybe, shoots little air bubbles out of its wings to propell itself?

Also, maybe the pokemon world's moon has an atmosphere.

I partially agree with Tyrannigon. I think the entry's two parts link up well enough, and I do like the entry in its entirety, but it is true that keeping Clefable as the subject of discussion is probably the most desirable...
