I need some slight help with my site.
Let me explain. I've set up my pokemon fan site, but there's only been like 5 people on there. We really haven't done much and I've just cleaned it up and restructured it slightly.
I need a few things:
1. I need a theme, one that's easy on the eyes, meaning not mostly white and not mostly black. I like what y'all have here with the shades of blue.
2. I need a couple of people to help moderate, my connection isn't the greatest and I've got to check up on the other members.

Right now I just want some volunteers some of these things, I'll need a few other things later, but currently can't remember what those things were. So if you have a person in mind or if you want to help go ahead and suggest it.

I'll post the link to my site soon but I'll pm those who want to help set up a theme and moderate first.

What type of site is it, out of curiosity? A fangame? A TRPG? A general discussion board?

Fangame, like what y'all have going on here

You'll have to run it by IB before you can post a link for it.

Okay, a few things here:

- If you're creating a site and need help on theme/design, it's fine to ask for help here.
- Advertising links are always limited to sigs. This is the basic standard we carry. You may request help in design and stuff, but the link itself needs to stay in your signature.
- Many forums find it extremely rude when you look for forum administration staff on their forums, it really should be limited to your own. People who come to your site with the sole intention of becoming a mod are not the kind of mods you're looking for.

good point about the looking for mods part...
i'm sorry for not thinking about that at first and i will remember that before i do something else like it elsewhere.
as to the link in the signature that's what i was going to do so that's good to know about leaving it there.
about the mods thing it was primarily until i could find out the schedule of the ones that were already on my site since everything had been shuffled around a lot recently but i don't need them yet as i don't have enough going on for it...
i have to re-contact those that currently are on my site for the modding.
so i'll go ahead and null the quest for mods here...

People who come to your site with the sole intention of becoming a mod are not the kind of mods you're looking for.
This is very true. You want people who visited the site to participate, not just to get status.

As for layout design, there are tons of free layouts out there on the Internet. My personal favorite is Open Source Web Design Templates. They have a variety of categories to pick from. I go there when I need to get ideas for a layout - I got the idea for the repository layout from one of the designs on there.

http://www.oswd.org/designs/favorites/page/1/ - this is the 'Favorites' category, which is basically the favorite picks of the OSWD editors.

Zero, I'm pretty sure that mefan's talking about Virus's fangame.

EDIT: And mefan, this isn't really the place to ask about being staff at another site or such.

Oh whoops. I wasn't paying attention to which thread I was in. Haha. mefan, if you're interested in helping Virus then PM him and you guys can discuss it.

Same goes for anyone else who wants to help him.

These kinds of threads aren't allowed here. If you want to advertise something, put it in your sig. Locking.
