As I have no idea how to create a decent image by purely using a computer, I hand-drew a simple Dolphure concept art. I apologize in advance for the (possibly) bad quality of the coloring. I used a colored pencil for the coloring.
(Uh, apparently, white colored pencil shows up as purple when scanned. ._.)
Yeah, scanners flood your image with light when they scan, so often the colours don't turn out quite right. In any case, I like it! It does look more realistic than Dolphure does though. I love the colour-pencil medium, it's one of my favourite ways to draw. One thing if you're looking for suggestions is to use smaller, finer, more controlled lines. That way huge strokes won't appear in your water and such. Think more about blending in areas rather than just adding an extra shade.
