    Lesse, here:

"The meaty insides of a CORPHISH's claws can be boiled down and consumed to promote protein development. For this reason, this Pokemon is mass-raised to huge sizes on aquatic farms."

Edited the second sentence; I had the first one almost perfectly memorized!

IB, you can go ahead and officialize it, for the reason(s) I gave on your profile. =D

There's something that's been bothering me though. "Promotes protein development" doesn't make any sense, considering that you eat meaty insides for the protein they provide to promote muscle repairs, development and to fuel your cells. Promoting protein development would be more like modifying ribosomes in a cell so that they produce more protein than usual, though that's not really a cause for mass farming.

I don't think that matters too much IB. Its not like they want to check if every entry is 100% true about the real thing. MMMMMMMM crab lobster thingy cooked and served on a silver plate. Delicious!!! I like PX's entry!!

i agree, these are pokemon, so things that would seem abnormal irl could be normal in the pokemon world, so i'd say that this one is fine....

It doesn't make sense in any world though. It's not that it has to be 100% correct, this just doesn't make sense, and it absolutely matters. I can see how the content is good but it still really bothers me and needs to be changed.

    Something like:

"The meaty insides of a CORPHISH's claws can be boiled down and consumed for their high protein content. For this reason, this Pokemon is mass-raised to huge sizes on aquatic farms."

No one would actually want to know if the entries were true or false.

I find that entirely untrue and completely against our vision of Topaz, cranky guy. That's an attitude that could really bring down the quality of a game.

The most important thing about a universe is tightness. How well do things fit together? How are the connections, the interactions? Do they make sense within the suspension of disbelief that makes up a fictional world? Is there continuity and believability? This is something I will never, ever give up in anything I ever do. I will never reduce quality and then blame it on a different universe or the fact that it's not very noticeable. Little unnoticeable things eventually build up to big noticeable things. Yes it matters if it's true or false. Yes, it must make sense, in the Pokemon sense of the world. This is the attitude with which all the Topaz entries are and have been made.

Meat promoting protein development is somewhat similar to saying that drinking water promotes water content in the body. It just doesn't work.

I agree with ImmunityBow completely. Once you make a couple small compromises you start being able to get yourself to make bigger ones.

    Cap'n, we have Corphish.

Corphish: The meaty insides of a CORPHISH's claws can be boiled down and consumed for their high protein content. For this reason, this Pokemon is mass-raised to huge sizes on aquatic farms.
