I have puddle sprites with transparent edges, if you want them. Not sure where I would put the cable car in that

I'm not a fan of the tiny cave entrance. Instead, you could just attach it directly to the cliff

It be cool if instead of that the safari building had a bunch of portals that lead to the different places. It would keep it from taking up to much room outside

I know it's good design to have those interspersed grass areas, but since it's the safari zone I feel that the grass should be more patches so that people can run around in without being interrupted by non-grass spaces while looking for Pokemon.

Yes, I think so. There's nothing wrong with a little bit of randomness here or there. Before, if I remember correctly, there were rectangular patches. They don't have to be rectangular shaped, they just need to have shape.

You mean dirt paths? Or just 'paths' as in places where you can walk?

what i meant by portals was put a portal in the zone that zapped you up to the top island then you go down the cable car to the next so that means the top one should have a cable car and a portal but the other ones need two cable cars

    You'd have to ask MeekRhino.

Not sure where he is, haven't seen him post for a while.

I think it should have a few more stairs on the mountain, or the Cable Car is going right up to there, because i don't like the idea of MUST pass through the cave to go to the snow area...

If you guys want a help with any sprites, I can help, like the swamp (i was thinking of use the shallow water sprites, and recoloring them)

I really do apologize for my low activity of late. I want to get back into this, and if you guys want I can start to work on the Safari Zone again. Any input/suggestions are very helpful.

EDIT: I fixed the maps to include larger grass patches. Any other changed, or are these two finished?

Can you just repost the latest ones, so I can be sure which ones they are?

As for Black Temple Gaurdian's desert, there are one or two issues. One, is it supposed to be cave style? Otherwise how are people going to have encounters? (Usually it's by Rock Smash RSE onwards) Secondly there are sometimes that you fail to connect cliff corners in a smooth way, so it looks blocky and unnatural.

These are my two zones, at their present condition. I think they are done, but I need confirmation or critique. The desert section is not my creation, and I do not have the file.

    EDIT:

This is a work in progress (Grassland/Ocean)
I need help in the following areas for sure:
1.) It's sparse. Should I add more grass? More rocks? More houses? Something else?
2.) There are two places where I could not come up with a way to block the edge of the screen (so the player can't walk out). Any ideas as to what I should put there?

I don't want to overdo the fence thing, and I don't think I can put trees on the beach. Thank you for the input though!

Could you ring them all in Mountains like you did before? They're floating islands made of rock, so it wouldn't look out of place IMO. These are artificial environments too, so it may be okay to break realism to a degree.

    1) I think you should add more grass, maybe some more trees here and there, maybe the occasional rock.
    2) I agree with Reli on that one.

Also, I think someone (maybe me) should make some tiles for a better transition between the river and ocean.

Oh right I forgot to mention the transition point. Yeah, I'm going to work on that.

    1) I think you should add more grass, maybe some more trees here and there, maybe the occasional rock.
    I can do that

Could you ring them all in Mountains like you did before?

    Another thing:

    Grass Zone: 20% Tropius 20% Stribra 10% Kondria 10% Tropius 10% Tauros 10% Sandshrew, 5% Stribra 5% Tauros 4% Bakurge 4% Scyther 1% Bakurge 1% Scyther

    Pond: 60% Corphish 30% Cascadet 5% Corphish 4% Cascadet 1% Lapras

    Ice Zone: 20% Tundrolf 20% Polara 10% Skarmory 10% Huskii 10% Tundrolf 10% Gargoth 5% Polara 5% Skarmory 4% Absol 4% Gargoth 1% Absol 1% Iglonia

    Marsh Zone: 20% Smallard 20% Meowth 10% Seviper 10% Zangoose 10% Smallard 10% Tangela 5% Meowth 5% Mallarge 4% Seviper 4% Zangoose 1% Persian 1% Tangela

    Rock Smash: 60% Inflare 30% Inflare 5% Dunsparce 4% Inflare 1% Inflare
Is that the Marsh Zone? If it is it'd be great if you added way more grass and a few puddles here and there.

    just my opinion,
but it looks very awkward where the river meets the ocean,
    or is it just me?

I suppose I could. But then it would be a lake, not an ocean. I suppose it doesn't really matter, especially if I'm going with the marsh theme.

EDIT: I look forward to your tiles, Tyran. Then I can keep my ocean . Btw if you didn't know they are 32x32 blocks
