    Default Absol

    Post ideas for Absol here.

Absol is often referred to as "The Oncoming Storm" or "The Approaching Disaster". Whenever an Absol is spotted, bad events have occured in its wake.

Despite its pure white fur, an ABSOL can slink into darkness and become pratically invisible. This trait allows it to pounce upon its prey unawares.

What's Absol's Ability(s) going to be? If it had a new one I was thinking of posting something related to that.
    Anyways:

Then wouldn't Absol's fur be translucent? Sort of like a polar bear's?

I still like your first one better. Just remember to capitalize the whole name of the Pokemon.

I'm not a very big fan of the "titles" Pokemon are known by. It seems to me a little uncool.

ABSOL was once feared by many as the bringer of catastrophe. Recently, it was ascertained by brave TRAINERS that it merrily appears before disasters, and does not necessarily cause them.

ABSOL's are often seen at places where catastrophes are about to happen. When its real motive is to warn people about the catastrophes that are about to happen, but its shady appearence if it was the one who had caused the things to happen.

ABSOL are often seen at places where a catastrophe is about to happen. Whilst its real motive is to warn people about the upcomming danger, its appearance has lead many to believe it is the one causing the catastrophe.

ABSOL have a unique insight into when catastrophes are going to happen. Unfortunatly, by the time it arrives it is usually to late for the victims to be saved.

The one that BTG upgraded (which was mine) sounds okay but his second doesnt sound right. Absol usually reaches before the catastrophe happens, not after it happens.

ABSOL appears before hikers that are stranded in blizzards. Once it judges the worth of the hikers, it either leads out or further in to their doom.

    Muhahahaha!

Cranky guy, yours is really, really long though. About 30 characters too long.

I like IB's, but I question the use of "merrily" there in the second sentence. I think it'd be a bit more accurate if that word were removed, and it might flow a little better without the comma after "disasters".

For centuries there have been stories of the disasters caused by ABSOL. Recent studies show that these POKEMON are simply attracted to the disaster sites and do not actually cause them.

Wording wise, yours is better than mine, Cyndadile, though why would it be attracted to disaster sites? Appearing before disasters allows the reader to extrapolate that Absol is actually a warning. Simply being attracted doesn't make too much sense logically.

    How about this?

For centuries there have been stories of the disasters caused by ABSOL. Recent studies show that these POKEMON are simply attracted to the disaster sites, intending to help the affected people.

I don't see how Absol would help anything, but I'm pretty sure it's canon that he does try to warn people (wasn't there a movie about it?)

4 votes. I see that NyteFyre's also on a spree so if he votes for then we can finish this.

Yes, yes I am. And I am finishing it! Going with IB's. Though I think "stories" could be better replaced. Maybe legends, or tales?

I don't feel that anyone will mind so let's close this.
