Has anyone read Death Note?

I was just curious because I wanted to read it but I didn't know if it was good.

Well, I felt the anime was superb, and that is generally a good indication that the accompanying manga will be good as well.

IIRC, I had some friends that read them, and I believe they said that it was good. I would definitely suggest it.

I agree with Reliability. The anime and manga were both incredibly good. There is no manga I could recommend more then Death Note. Like most translations, there are a few odd points that make a bit less sense in English then they did in Japanese. Death Note is a shorter manga as well, and is complete, which makes it great to read if you just have some spare time one day.
