Fishing Guru's Fancy
This is an optional sidequest.
Sunset village is home to one of the premier fishing experts in Caldera, the Fishing Guru. He's been a bit bored with fishing lately, but he might just instruct you in the art of fishing if you can defeat him in a Pokemon battle!

The Fishing Guru is pleased with your fighting spirit, and gives you one of his prized fishing rods as a reward. He then runs out of his house towards the ocean, claiming that he's about to "catch the big one!"
