Firant spits out flames, setting your entire pant leg on fire. Harley endures the flames and charges the Firant, introducing her fist to Firant's oversized eye.

Firant was super confident, faced with this mostly inexperienced foe. She gathered up all her formic acid and spat it out onto Harley. Not only was Harley entirely covered, the speed at which the acid was projected caused her to be thrown back, where she was promptly propelled right through a tree! Standing up, holding onto consciousness by only a thread, the exhausted Harley did what she could back to the Firant.

Harley's wounds seem to completely disappear as you spray the potion, and she seems invigorated. However, Firant adds her own acidic ingredient to the potion's spray, making Harley's fur burn again.

The guy wants to fight you alright. A middle aged man in a karate gi, he tries to hit you on your head, but your lightning-fast reflexes catch his hand before he makes contact! Huffing something about "kids and their energy these days," he turns around. Then he whips himself around and throws a Pokeball down to the ground, saying "We'll do it this way then!"

The arrogant kung fu guy obviously only wanted his Mankey to be using Fighting-typed moves. "Go with a Low Kick!" he said. Mankey was pretty quick and executed the attack, attempting to trip up Firant. Firant, however, being ridiculously light, took nearly no damage from the attack. Happily, she sent back some flames of her own.

Mankey once again tried to trip up Wiggle, but the bug easily scurried back to its feet. Wiggle then spewed out a few globs of a jellylike substance that fizzled as it made contact with Jiu-Jitsu Mankey's skin.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, Mankey switched tactics, raking Firant with his claws. Having been hit by such piddling blows before, Firant was taken off guard, and was unprepared for the attack. Critical hit! Firant was sent flying as she lost half her health in a single blow. All she could do was send back embers in retaliation. She was still healthier, but shaking, she realized that the battle was not as one-sided as she thought.

As Firant scurried forward to get a clearer view, Mankey once again went for her legs, tripping her up again as she spewed flames at her enemy.

Mankey darted forward and scratched Firant, but Firant was already starting to spew flames. Mankey passed out, its fur charred.

OoC: What I meant was that I'm an idiot who didn't notice that you were in a trainer battle, and was asking if you wanted wild or trainer next. But I guess that's not important here.
The man's face turns red as he returns his prize Pokemon, and you take advantage of the pause to return Wiggle to her pokeball. In her place, you send out Harley, who seems all to eager to defend you.
The man lets out a deep kiai as he thrusts forth another pokeball. Red light spills out and takes the form of a small red bear. The Embear has a grin spread across her face, and makes a solid attempt to crack the knuckles in her paws as she advances towards your happy-go-lucky Mogel.

"Harley, use charm!" I commanded, this Kung Fu stuff was rubbing of on me...
The murderous look in Harley's deep, black eyes was replaced by that of a toddler receiving an ice cream in the middle of a hot summer in Lavaridge Town.

Harley's adorable appearance through off Embear, and she stopped, wary of an ambush. Instead of pressing forward, a deep rumble emitted from the cub's throat, a low growl that frightened the cute facade off Harley's face.

OoC: No problem, that's my job. I love doing the stuff for the TRPG; feels as if it has been too long. Also, you've given me a reason to get into a little app development - that way, I can port our RPG calculator to other systems so that I don't have to boot up my computer for everything. :D

Harley darted towards a tree, using the terrain to her advantage, pressed her hind legs against the charred tree, shot off like a rocket, head first towards Embear!

As Harley made her move, Embear paused to focus her energy. Motes of orange light sparkled around her eyes and paws as her energy concentrated there, but the action was cut short when Harley bounced from the tree and slapped a paw across Embear's face. Embear staggered back and the power she was gathering through focus energy subsided. The young bear prepared her next attack as Harley circled back towards her trainer for another command.

As an adorable look began to gloss over Harley's face, Embear resumed its look of concentration. Once again, Embear focused its energy, orange sparks flying. Harley's charm still managed to break through the halo of light, and Embear lost some of her will to fight such a cute creature.

Harley did, indeed, lay a swift blow on Embear's hindquarters, as the concentrated, focused energy became an almost solid halo around the cub's mouth and paws.
