Hey all! It's been quite awhile. Anyway I recently got a drawing monitor and tested it out today and I think I got pretty close the the Sugimori style. Here's my concept for Mega Garbodor (Poison/Steel):

It's funny, I looked at the art before reading the post and thought "that looks quite a bit like official art", so I think you hit your mark there.

I've always kinda liked mega evolutions, and this seems to keep to the spirit of them pretty well.

Thanks! I tried really hard to hit that style. It's a Ugee 1910B. I think I'm really getting the hang of it. Here's another mega evolution, this time of Vanilluxe! (Ice/Fairy):

As a side note, I will be redoing Moocalf and Mogel with thinner outlines. Feel free to use them as concept art if you would like.

These are incredible. I can really see how you're getting more familiar with the features with each drawing. Your highlighting work is really nice, and the outlines get cleaner and cleaner aside from the little tough bits like the top of Phantern's head.

Very nice! I'm particularly a fan of the shading on Mosidius, since that's something I've always had issues with myself.

Thanks! It's all a work in progress but I feel I am getting better and better. I plan to learn to make pixel art next so I can convert these two to sprite form.
