We couldn't smoke the first two days because my grandparents were staying there but after that, there was a constant fog. I came out with some cash, nikes, clothes, gift cards, a mouse, a cap, a 30 year old family heirloom pocket watch, Spy Kids and Waterboy. Made out like a bandit. I've got a couple stories I'll post later.

well i've been on here before i just havent gotten around to rejoining due to the changes in the site recently...

well while i've been away i've started work on my own pokemon site but it's still currently under construction so i cant give out the url just yet...
eventually i do want to let others know about the url but it'll have to wait until we can get certain things up and running...

it will include a few guides/walkthroughs for the games but it'll go from the advance games to the ds...
it will also include a competitive battling section for those who wish to become competitive battlers or become better at it...

i'm still learning a bit of it too so those who take a look at the section to try it out won't be alone...

If I was going to guess, I'd say you probably could once your site is up and running, and you have a fairly strong community. From what I can tell, sites affiliate with other sites that they see as places that aren't run by noobs and have been around for a little while.

I am going to be taking an extended break from Topaz until I can clear my mind fully and concentrate. It's a little premature, but this Sunday I'm going to London for a week for a drama-themed school trip. I expect it will be awesome. Some things include shows at the Victorian, the Royal... something, a Jack the Ripper tour (SWEET :D) and day trips to Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon. Fish and chips will be eaten, souvenirs purchased and the Queen may be at Windsor castle. I'll report back my findings. If you have any other things I MUST do while in England, let me know.

On an unrelated note, I'll ge giving Topaz a going away present that I will be making tomorrow. Guess what it is. Don't really guess, I think it's obvious.

You're so canadian hahaha. Don't think the best fish in fish&chips is £2...that's the shittest you'll find. Most of the good shit is like £6, especially Halibut. Cod and Haddock are nice but very common. You may aswell say you want tea and crumpets hahaha.

You MUSTN'T use the underground alone, you could easily get lost. Do NOT visit South/SouthEast London or your life will be at stake, highest crime rates in the country and whatnot (Although it's not that bad, I live here afterall).

Englands quite boring though to be honest, not much to do..... You could go on the London Eye, it's just a vertical merry-go-round that lasts an hour giving you skyscraping view of the city and the tall buildings....

Well, my computer crashed. I somehow ended up with a bunch of viruses, and had to reboot. I was then wary of the internet until I could figure out what the problem was [which, incidentally, I never did]. Eventually, I gave up. I decided to just surf the net like I did before, but be more careful w/downloads and such.

So, I'm back. Hopefully viruses won't further impede my ability to help with Topaz.

I had intended to sift through the shiny threads tonight, but I'm out of time and about to fall asleep sitting up. I will try to go through them tomorrow, but I can't make any promises, as I have to attend both an art show with my work included and my dad's concert. If you are using Internet Explorer then you need to switch to Firefox or Chrome (even better). That will help keep a lot of stuff out before it even gets onto your system.

There is also an exploit in Adobe Reader 7 so if you have that then you need to update.

Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware is a great scanner for all kinds of spyware/adware/trojans/etc. And finally, you need an antivirus if you don't have one. I recommend Avast Antivirus Free Edition.

Spybot Search & Destroy is notable here, for its immunization process.

It's fail adware then. That stuff is easy to get rid of, just get Malwarebytes' Anti-malware. Adware isn't a virus, it's a type of malware designed to annoy the hell out of the user. But it wasn't designed well enough, and as a result is very easy to detect.

Anyway, my grounding was pretty short-lived, as my mum finally decided to listen to me (I need my comp for homework, too!), so I'm back full-time!

For about the next month or so, my availability is going to be sporadic. If you haven't already noticed, I haven't been around much. This probably won't get better until the end of next month.

I have until Fall to adapt my book into a play, because my school is considering putting it on. I'm thoroughly excited about that, but it's going to be taking up a lot of my time.

I'm also trying to finish my next book by Fall. This is purely because I want to, and it's not an obligation, but the muse has struck, and I know I'm going to be working on it a lot.

I'm leaving Tuesday for a Young Writers workshop at a college an hour or so away, and won't be returning until next Saturday. I don't know if I'll have internet access, but I'm not counting on it. If I find out I do, I'll pop on and say hello, but that's about all I can promise.

Next month, I'm going to Florida for a week.

So, yeah. This is all on top of traveling back and forth between my Dad's and my Mom's, with the occasional trip to a friend's house- which reminds me, I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon to spend the night with a few of my friends, and won't be back til Saturday- and sometimes having to watch my siblings thrown in.

To recap:
1. Going to a friend's house tomorrow evening, won't return til Saturday.
2. Leaving next Tuesday until next Saturday for a writing workshop.
3. Leaving for a week in July to go to Florida.
4. Have 2-3 months to turn my 20 chapter, 215+ page book into a play.
5. Trying to finish another book.

I'll try to find time to log on, but I don't know how much I'll have.

Okay, I'm back and I'm thrilled to see that STT has done a good job of keeping the soundtrack moving. Kudos. :)
I can't promise that I'll be pumping songs out like I used to, but I'll definitely be working on some original works in the near future. As of right now, I've got my focus on Kalypso City.
If the public prefers the sound quality that STT is using, I'll reduce mine to MIDIs and send them to STT to transfer over, as I did with the rest of the soundtrack about three months ago now.
Glad to see progress has been made, glad to see many are still enthusiastic. But most of all, I'm simply glad to be back.

Sorry I haven't been on this week but I've been in a funk. For a few reasons, but mainly because I'm low on medicine so I'm taking half of what I'm supposed to. I wasn't on much, and when I was, I only checked facebook and a couple other things.

Good news though, is that I just resigned as a server admin on Pokemon Online's beta server so I can have more free time to work on Topaz! I'm still the PO site/forums webmaster as far as I know but that won't take up nearly as much time as I was spending on the server.

I'm back now and after I catch up on the 250+ posts, I'll get right to work. First thing on the list: soundtrack stuff on the repository.

Definitely. Aside from that, though, it was amazing. I realized that I'm not alone with how I feel when it comes to writing [shunned by peers, with no one to talk to that has actually been where I'm at now], I'm not alone. It was incredible to be able to talk to so many people that understood and could help me with the writing process.

Am now inspired to continue seeking an agent. 8-)

Back again from my friend's, with a more detailed explanation of our weird-ass D&D adventure:

This is quite possibly the weirdest D&D-based RPG you will ever hear about.

First, everyone is a furry, and almost everyone is the same race (Lycan, but not the Lycan idea that is the most common.), Two of us are vampires, one is a ninja (me), Two have watches and AI (Me (my character's name is Kodai Sodrall) and Sly (who's an NPC)), My character and Sly know each other, but Sly is in love with my friend Dylan's character, Jake. Two of us are Psionics that dematerialise and kill people for the hell of it. I was once Death himself, we knocked Satan on his ass and battled a god five times, killing him twice. One of us (Mike Blade, NPC) likes to have sex with anything that moves, and at one point every character has owned a katana. We has Apocalypto I, who had his balls ripped off and burned by Carra, one of the Psionics. Ghost, the other Psionic, tried to kill everyone with illusions not realising that because I'm undead, I'm immune to mind-affecting stuff, and then got his ass kicked. Before that I clobbered Carra in one hit with a katana that Death permanently morphed from his scythe (48 damage!). Death remembered Sly saved his life and didn't like being Death anymore, so he quit.

All that and we still have to fight the water god and kill another ninja.

Read that and try to tell me it's not weird.
