Now who the hell saves these as JPGs? It wasn't the funnest thing trying to "change them back".
I'm not angry at you, Bushy, but just if your still here, remember to save as png, k? I also noticed the shinies had 1 change to them, instead of complete re-do. That actually got me mixed emotion, since some "official" shinies do the same.

It's good. Could you crop out your shiny and post just that? It doesn't have to be transparent - I can just do that myself when I go through the shiny winners to align/rename the files but if you could do that too then that'd be great.

In the future, please make use of the 'Edit Post' button, located at the bottom of your post with a pencil icon next to it.

Double/Triple posting is frowned upon at almost every forum out there on the Internet, unless you are unable to edit your post. Here, there is a 30 minute time limit on editing but your triple posts were within 1 minute and 6 minutes of each other.

Also, I made some shinies. I have probably made over 200 so far. Though I still say, VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE...I might suggest that we get more yellow and purple options. Though blue is hot (and I hope my blue ingero wins), we dont have many winning yellow and purples.

I have based EVERY inflare-ingero off of my chemistry class and welding class. we would mess around with different substances like for example copper, and it would make fire turn green. (and same with all these other ones).
This new blue one replaces my old one with the green eyes.

PS. Idk if its just my rare ego finally kicking up for a second, but I'M REALLY PROUD of my Frostorm. Proud to the point of possibly asking of an "original" replacement. Have mine become the new color original, and then have the other Frostorm possibly be the shiny...but that might (and probably is) be my ego comming up.

Something weird is going on with shinies. I thought there was an issue before, but nowk, some of the ones submitted are dissapearing. whats going on? Like Shadow's Malstril's, XTS's seraph, kondria, jackalant line. etc... its mostly in the 1st and 2nd pages of the topazmon.

That'd probably because we saved them on Iaza, which automatically deletes saved images after a certain time period. I can re-save them on Photobucket if necessary.

RP is correct; I don't know what you're referring to, mefan, but that's never been a feature in ANY of the Pokemon games. The only thing that's guaranteed to get your a higher chance of earning a shiny is (legitimately) Masuda breeding, which was added in Gen IV.

Or, you could hack, which is for people who have no life and ambition.

EDIT: Also, officially, R/B/Y had no shinies; only Stadium had a beta form of them.

Do you mean the Pal Park? You have to specify which game you're talking about. The Pal Park was only there because they couldn't find places for every single Pokemon from generations 1-3, so they let you send Pokemon from the GBA games. I doubt Topaz will have this problem, and even if it did, there would be no way for a computer game to get Pokemon from your GBA games.

No. There will be no "shiny park". We have already bumped the shiny rate up quite a bit (and even then, it's still less than 1%).

Yeah, the origional shiny odds of 1/8192 were cut down to 79something, or 80something, or, hell, even 81something. point is it has been cut waaaaaaay too much. At any rate, the topic has been strayed for quite a while.

The Poke Radar in 4th gen made it relatively easy to get shinies if you had patience. Just chain up 40 and the rate leaps up to around 1 in 200. Also, I thought that the shiny rate was still 1 in 2^13 (8192)

I had Quinn send me the shiny sprites, since I knew he had them all saved, and he proceeded to send me about 130mb worth of Topaz stuff that he had. >_>

So yeah, I'll be posting a page with the shiny sprites and going through what else he sent me. Some of the item sprites look promising...

Yeah, it does. They're both red, but they're just a bit different., like regular and shiny Sunkerns are almost the same, but not quite. Either way, does the hair have to change? I mean, some Pokemon don't have all of their colours change (e.g. Flygon's only shiny change is the dark-ish green (see the diamond on my avatar's chest) parts are changed to blue, and the red parts are changed to orange, but the green stayed almost, if not exactly the same.

Ugh this was still stickied? Well anyway, I got Quinn to send me all his Topaz stuff since I knew he was probably the only person who had all the shiny front sprites organized from the polls he ran a while back.

I finally got them sorted and I'm working on getting them up on the site. However, Kraklaw's sprite was replaced in the interim and the new one needs to be recolored. I was wondering if anyone would like to take a crack at it?

If you look at Quinn's, you can tell the eyes are different. I don't know if that's based off an older version or if he decided to edit it himself.

Yes, that is indeed what happened. So if the sprite that wins has the wrong eyes, we can recolour the official sprite, so that it has the right eyes.
