Take out the first phrase if you'd like. In any case, I'd rather start with Weezing than Koffing, seeing that it is Weezing's entry. I can't think of a way to reverse your first sentance, so I tried something new instead.

Well the reason Koffing is referenced is because (in Pokemon canon), that is how Weezing forms - by multiple Koffing fusing together.

What I'mm saying is that I would prefer to have Weezing the first pokemon mentioned. It sounds more like a Koffing entry if we talk about it first. Something like this:

WEEZING is a combination of the waste material of two KOFFING [mixed together]. Wounds caused from being struck by its sludge will fester and become infected faster than usual, requiring urgent medical attention.
