Hey guys.
Before the crash, while throwing trainer fodder around, I decided that I'd try a couple of trainer concept drawings. I think this is the right place for them?
But anyway, I finally got off my ass and scanned them.
Comments? Concerns? They're all WIP, especially the gambler.

Chloreon has been done already, and your Tellure icon is a Swellow recolor. >_>

EDIT: I'm pretty sure (95% positive) that Bakurge is done already AND is a Regirock recolor. Something looks odd about Chloreon, too...it reminds me about Espeon's icon.

Yeah, we have always frowned upon using existing Pokemon to modify for sprites/icons. Trainer sprites are a different story though, you can recolor and splice so maybe you wanna try your hand at that? Just recoloring alone probably won't get it accepted though, so get creative.

We always welcome help from anyone and I hope you won't let past incidents discourage you, everybody can be a contributor.

I can't comment on the sprite, I'm not good at that sort of thing but here is a tip. Save your files as .png or .gif - never .jpg, it drastically reduces the quality and adds pixelated artifacts.

It looks like a green blob with weird appendages. There's no depth to the coloring - it's flat.

Badara needed a Light icon and there didn't seem to be one in the site files so I made it.



The text is kinda bright against the background but I looked at Electric, which is yellow but it still has white text so I didn't change the text color. I think it is still readable.

You've been around before, sCam-you should know by now that we're doing Advance graphics.

Umm... To answer the question, yes and no.

We're probably using D/P or HG/SS (or a mix of both) for the front and back sprites, and icons for the officialmon. That way we don't have half 64x64 Pokemon and half 80x80. As for maps and interface, likely advanced-style, since the D/P's 3D style is difficult to simulate on RPGMaker's tileset system.

No need for "lawl"s, the question is not answered in full on the FAQ, really.

Hello I have a few new Ideas that may be of use first off here is my custom pokemon concept idea: secondly the Specialty move of this pokemon learned at level 58 is called Night Barrage it does Burst Damage of 60 and does 2-5 turns of damage like fire spin from a new dark type status known as "Trauma" His Second move is Venom Slash (Poison type Slash), lastly the idea of Ghost status "Terror" it causes a pokemon to at times use the wrong move (i.e if trainer uses Slash it may use Take Down instead in bad case if the pokemon has low HP it will K.O. itself.) Please let me know if these ideas are any use ^^; ty for your time.

We are not accepting new Pokemon at this time. In fact, our current list has been finalized for quite a while now...few years, I'd say.
The same goes for moves, abilites, and quite a few other things. Sorry, but your idea, while nice, is not going to happen.]

EDIT: Also, even if it were going to be accepted, the Dusk Stone is not in Topaz, as that is a fourth-generation item; there is nothing fourth-gen in Topaz.

I would be honored to assist in the project if i'm able. I drew all 3 forms I'm a concept artist I desire to become a character designer in career. let me know the secifications of the pokemon and I'll draw them ^^

Go to that link, pretty much all of them need concept art.
I recommend trying Bakurge or Malistril. Feel free to pose them as you like, a Bakurge doing the king kong chest beat would be pretty epic.
