Default Help me sort through NPC lines!

It's probably the biggest thing I need sorted through... and I don't think I have everything just yet either:

'I guess I’ll do a few for Saharan, the rest can be done when more info comes: NPC 1: Well, who do we have here? It must have been tough crossing the eye of sand to get here! NPC 2: Not every pokemon is effected negatively by sandstorms. My pokemon actually benefits from it! (Cacnea: Grriigiittt!) NPC 3: (Before gym battle): Arrrgh! I can’t belive it’s taking this long to build one stupid tunnel! (After gym battle): Haventree tunnel is finally done! I gotta go to school, I’ll do some more this afternoon.
) 18012, 'Okay I’m back, here’s some more: NPC 4: Going to challenge Osiro? Don’t count on a victory this time, his power is real! After battle: Wow... You’re incredible! Osiro dosen’t lose to just anyone! Pokemart: NPC 5: This pokemart has some of the best products in stock. A full restore is like a max potion and a full heal all in one! NPC 6: I forgot my wallet at my house, but my wife will be steamed if I don’t bring everything on our list back... What to do? Pokemon Center: NPC 7: ...I just can’t hack it! The other gym leaders were tough, but I’ve challenged Osiro six times, and I just can’t win! It’s getting very discouraging... (Primeape: aaiiigrirr!) NPC 8: Trainers who brave the eye of sand to get here just go to the gym and then leave! They should visit the library too! Gym: NPC 9: Well, if it isn’t the soon-to-be champion! This is the final gym before pokemon league, and let me tell ya buddy, this will NOT be a cakewalk! Osiro’s got an army of ground-type pokemon ready for you, and his trainers are nearly as tough as he is! You’re gonna need all the skill you’ve got for this one! (After): I can’t believe it! You’ve beaten one of the greatest trainers in the land! Check your trainer card, and make sure you’ve got all the badges still in there. If all eight are there, you can now go to pokemon league! NPC 10 (Osiro): Before Battle: Welcome, challenger, to the Saharan Gym! This land was founded by my people nearly a millenium ago, when our first pharoh discovered the oasis upon which the city is built. The endless sandstorm here was created by our people’s immense ground-type pokemon, in order to keep invaders out and preserve our ancient heritage, a heritage which I am bound to protect. You are obviously here on your quest for the pokemon league. Although I love to see young trainers soar to new heights, i’m afraid my pride would not allow a loss to you! (In battle text after victory): Wonderful! My efforts to drag you into the abyss have failed! You are truly an impeccable trainer!(After battle in normal screen): Your victory here was no fluke. Your pokemon posses talent and determination in spades. As a reward for this, please take this tm. It is normally reserved for descendants of the ancient royal family, but I wish for your pokemon to learn Fault Line. It is a powerful move that causes massive damage to both you and your enemy. (Talk Again): Your next step is to go far to the south toward your ultimate goal: The Pokemon League. I wish you luck on the remainder of your quest! Wow, Osiro sure says a lot. I’d like to cut that down a bit, but it is also a little longer bcause gym leaders need four sets of things to say.
) 18013, 'Looking good. My activity will be limited for a while because I got a big piece of malware that I’ve mostly got rid of but of which I am having trouble with the after-effects. Just a heads up.
) 18014, 'Ouch. I recently had one that looked just like a Windows update telling me my computer had three different Trojan worms on it. Even if you click on x, it will release the real virus, so it’s getting a lot of people right now. On a different note, my Osiro dosen’t actually say anything about the badge, so I’ll change one of his lines. After battle normal screen: Your victory was no fluke. Your power and resolve has given you the victory here today. In recognition of this, I bequeath to you the Sphinx Badge, the final emblem of the league! Also, I wish for you to go forth with my blessing in the form of this TM, normally reserved for the descendants of the royal family. With it, you can make the power of Fault Line your own! It causes massive damage to both battlers.
) 18039, 'I can do Sedcini this afternoon.
) 18045, 'I forgot about television shows! There is a PURIOR fighting a bunch of Team Rocket. It looks like it is beating them badly. A lady is flailing in the water, screaming her lungs out. It looks like a KRAKLAW attack. It is a documentary showing the burning of the PINEDALE FOREST
) 18052, 'Is their any info on Sedcini that I can use?
) 18060, 'None that you don’t have access to, sorry! I’m up to Icthyes with OI, Hollowlog with World of Topazes.
) 18063, 'We suppose we can do Icthyes then, since there is stuff on that.
) 18066, 'Not all of it either. Just wait. Tomorrow I’ll get all the Icthyes stuff done on OI (at least I hope I will) and then I’ll post it here.
) 18090, 'The Orange Treeko Bar & Grill is a rest stop for trainers, tourists and locals alike. It’s a place where you can sit around to have a chat, a sparkling hard or soft drink, or a scrumptious meal with ingredients you can’t find anywhere else. Sit down, relax, and forget about carrying the world on your shoulders, or about the injustices of this world: this restaurant serves delicacies of questionable origins, and drinks with alcohol levels that are high enough for you to forget about how high they are after a couple of drinks! Bet you couldn’t tell it from the quaint fishing huts that litter the beaches of Icthyes City, but Icthyes City is home to one of the biggest black markets in the world. Rocket Invite in hand, you ask around the Black Market where to find the Rocket base. Lorenzo's medicine shop just happens to be the entrance to the Rocket’s southern headquarters. As you arrive at Rocket East, you are met with a palace of which it is incredibly obvious that Pokémon exploitation was used to build. From the ivory doorknobs to the carpet smelling very strongly of Embear fur. You enter Giovanni’s Office, which is a massive study the size of a courtyard, with ceilings reaching three stories high and with solid Sudowoodo-stone furniture. No scruples against harming Pokémon here either
) 18108, 'Sorry it took us a while to do this, but our schoolwork has been crazy the last few days. We have some time today, so we can get some of it done. NPC 1: Icthyes city is a true captain of industry. One day, all cities may someday be like this! NPC 2: 50 years ago, Icthyes was just a small fishing village. Reminicing about the good old days is a way to pass the time, I suppose... NPC 3: There are some buisnessmen here who are quite wealthy, but boy are there some crooks too! NPC 4: The main streets here are clean, but the back alleys are filthy. It makes you wonder what lies just under the surface... NPC 5: Hey kid! You wanna buy some KUANAIGA fangs? Rare as can be, and for a fair price, too! No? Then beat it! NPC 6: We pull out fresh fish by the tons here every day! Using our wonderful Super Rods, we can catch any aquatic pokemon, even pokemon on the ocean bottom! Would you like a Super Rod so you can be a Super fisherman too? All right, here’s your very own super-de-duper Super Rod! NPC 7: You got the stuff? Oh, that there is a Rocket Invite. In that case, you’ve gotta talk to Big Tony. He can tell ya where to use that! NPC 8: What, what are ya botherin’ Big Tony for? Rocket Invite? Don’t tell anyone, but you need ta take dat over to Lorenzo’s med shop, and show it to the purfume lady. Go on kid, scoot! NPC 9: Welcome to Lorenzo’s Medicine Shop, where you can get all of your herbal needs! What can I do for you? NPC 10: Herbs are inexpensive, but they make your pokemon dislike you. Don’t use them unless you want your pokemon to not like you for some reason. NPC 11: I sometimes see shady characters coming in and out of here. I wonder what’s going on? NPC 12: Hello, I sell herbal perfumes, but I doubt you can afford any of them. ( If you have Rocket Invite): Oh, I see. please come with me. (She takes youu into the back room.) You’ll get where you want by going down the stairs. That’s about all we’ve got time for today, we’ll try to do more tommorow.
) 18170, 'Whew, finally got a little time to do some more. NPC 13: The new version of the Serber-i security system came out recently. It was developed in that big building over there. NPC 14: We are the research team that developed the Serber-i system, but the boss takes all the credit! NPC 15: Plug this wire in here, and then attach this... Can’t you see that i’m trying to concentrate? NPC 16: It was my idea to build a system that would give peace of mind to those with many possesions! Don’t listen to those ingrates! SIGN: Icthyes Recreational Park. Note: Please report any acts of vandalism to the authorities. NPC 17: This park is one of the few places that is nice and clean in the city. My kids really enjoy it! NPC 18: Yay! Let’s play tag! NPC 19: Alright! you’re it! NPC 20: Aww... I can’t run as fast as the other kids... NPC 21: There has been a lot of graffiti on this wall recently. No one ever sees them, so they must be doing it late at night... Wall: Teem Roket Rulz! Oreon Defedes Sukz! We’re running a bit low on ideas for this place. Hopefully others will add to this.
) 18172, 'This is probably stupid, but: Drunken Man: *hic* Darrack/Diana *hic* where you been *hic* wait, you’re not Darrack/Diana *hic* what do you want?! Like I said, it’s stupid. I got the idea for it from that alcohol comment up there.
) 18175, 'Pretty much everything typed here is considered, don’t worry if you think it’s stupid. Wouldn’t be bad for someone in a back alley.

) 18200, 'I should really have more faith. I just thought this up: Little Kid: Mommy, why is it called Orange Treeko? Mom: Does it matter? Let’s go in already. Little Kid: But mommy... I imagine them next to each other outside the resturant.
) 18203, 'NPC 22: Hey. Yeah, I’m in Icthyes City. Where are you? ...Okay. Hey, I’ll have to call you back. There’s this trainer standing <i>waaaay</i> too close. ...Mmmhmm, bye. *click* I hope you know, that was a very important conversation.
) 18204, 'Sounds good to me, I totally spaced the restraunt, there could be a large line in front of it since it’s supposed to be really popular.
) 18205, 'New Ideas: Outside: Waiter next to entrance: Every customer is impatient. Especially the rich ones. Those who are not customers go in anytime. Rich Girl: What is taking so long! I’m richer than this resturant’s manager! Rich Boy: My girlfriend thinks she should get in first because her father is rich. Which is partially right. Man: I’m on a quest to drink in every region! This is the first one! Woman: My husband is such an idiot! All he ever thinks about is drinking! Oh well, at least he’s paying for the food. Inside: Waiter behind podium: Welcome to the Orange Treecko Bar &amp; Grill. Would you like a table? Man at booth: This wine is exquisite! Woman at same booth: This cuisine is delicious! Man at table for two: I’m supposed to meet my blind date here. Have you seen her? After she leaves: Says same thing but adds: She left, oh dear. I’d better leave then. *sniff* *sniff* Woman staring at same table: That’s my blind date? Not in this lifet/ime. *leaves resturant* Woman sitting at table with husband and kids: I love it here! I’m glad I live in this city. Man next to woman: We had forternal twins. We’re here for their birthday. Young Girl across from Man: It’s my birthday! I want cake! Young Boy next to girl: It’s my birthday! I want cake! Bus boy at empty two-wall booth: I don’t know why I’m even cleaning this table. It’s just going to become dirty again in two minutes. Chef at fryer: We get our fish from the best provider! Who, you ask? Team Rocket of course. Chef at stove: Little grunts want cake! I’ll give them cake! Chocolate, to be exact, with vanilla icing and sprinkles! Head Chef: Jeffrey, finish that order. Jessica, grill the fish now! Charles, thaw the meat. Hello. If you’re looking for a job, there are no positions right now. Sorry. *coughnotreallycough*
) 18206, 'Those look great. Thanks, this is the biggest chunk of lines done by someone other than me in quite a while. We’ve got a fair amount for here now, more can be added later. IB, info on Cetacea would be great.
) 18236, 'Wow. I can’t really think of anything else. Of course, eventually, we’ll have to finish the resturant.
) 18237, 'After searching the entire rock face of the cliff upon which Cetacea Town lies, finally before you stands the Defender Hall. High on a cliffside next to the sea lies the Defender Hall. Built straight into the rockface, the building is designed to be soundproof and camouflaged so as not to disturb nearby Pokémon. The Calming Center is a place of holistic healing and happiness run by the ever-cheerful and serene Joyce. A place where Pokémon can relax and enjoy fresh and wholesome food, Joyce’s services include massages, soothsaying and flute music. Trainers can also stick around and play with their Pokémon and with other trainers, and maybe treat themselves to a wonderful mud spa taken from the seabed next to Cetacea Town
) 18245, 'Thanks, here we go. NPC 1: Welcome to Cetacea town, young’in! Enjoy your visit! NPC 2: Excuse me, big kid! Have you seen Ms. Xan? She said she would play with me today. NPC 3: I’ve been traveling around for a long time, but boy is this place different. Most people keep their pokemon outside of pokeballs! NPC 4: We believe that people and pokemon can live in perfect harmony without us capturing and enslaving them. Pokemart: NPC 5: Our pokemart doesn’t sell pokeballs of any sort. It’s fine for us because we don’t use them, but it annoys passing trainers. NPC 6: I used my last pokeball on a clefairy. Now I’m gonna have to go back to Icthyes to get more... (Clefairy: Jinjaaiing!) Calming Center: NPC 7: Now this if my kind of place! Spa treatments, massages, and great for pokemon too! NPC 8: Hello, and welcome to calming center! This window is for Pokemon calming sessions! For just 5000, you can leave your pokemon with us for a short while, and when you return, it will have a whole new level of affection towards you! NPC 9: Ahh... the spa is so relaxing... NPC 10: Snore... Ahhh! Whoa, sorry. I get bad dreams every time I fall asleep in here. I dream that a whole bunch of ghost pokemon are eating my dreams. Would you like me to teach one of your pokemon Dream Eater/Nightmare (One of these would be cool.) NPC 11: My husband dozes off every time we come here. It’s really embarassing! NPC 12: You socialize with other trainers in this area. NPC 13: My Mogel is so cuddly! I’m sure glad I found him! (Mogel: Giigen!) NPC 14: Say what you will, but know that my Engil is the cutest pokemon here! (Engil: Biigleeali) NPC 15: No one wants to hang out with me and my Muk... I wonder why? (Muk: Shrooooggsh!) NPC 16: Are you enjoying your stay? My name is Joyce, and I run this fine establishment. Make sure you tell others about us, so more people will realize that ours is the true vision for the world! NPC 17: Would you like a soothe bell? It takes a little longer, but you can make your pokemon friendlier if you already have one here. It’s free of charge, just for using the Calming Center! Could use more, but this is a good start. I imagine this place to be a little like San Fransisco, the people are well meaning, but also a little snobby.
) 18251, 'More: NPC 18: The Orion defenders keep our town crime free. We never see hide nor hair of any Rockets! NPC 19: Most of the children want to join the Orion Defenders when they grow up. NPC 20: When I get big, I’m gonna be just like Issac! NPC 21: Me and Donna play house every Saturday. It’s fun, you should come play with us, okay? NPC 22: The Orion Defenders Headquarters is built into the side of the cliff. They did that so they wouldn’t hurt the local ecosystem. How considerate of them! NPC 23: Arggh! I just can’t work up the courage to go in. I want to be an Orion Defender, but I get nervous right before I go in! NPC 24: Going to join the Defenders? There have been quite a few kids being recruited lately... NPC 25: Don’t tell anyone about this, but I’ve heard the Orion base has a secret entrance. It’s just a rumor though... We think the presence of the defenders should be well known, unlike the secrecy of the Rocket hideout in Icthyes. Unfortunatley, this is all we’ve got time for for now, homework is making it so we can’t crank out a whole city at a time anymore...
) 18253, 'Makes sense, both the lines and your need to separate it for time. Thanks for your work!
) 18266, 'NPC 26: My pokemon and I are tuckered out. Where’s the pokemon center? NPC 27: Way up north, there’s shrine on a mountain that is supposed to hold a lot of secrets. Did you know? (y,n) y: It’s good to see a child with some knowledge. n: I’m not suprised. Most people have never heard of it. NPC 28: I’m an official from Dynamo Gardens. We want to build windmills here to generate energy for our cities. NPC 29: I evolved my Eevee into an Espeon. I’m trading it for my friends’ Chloreon! NPC 30: Once my friend trades me his Espeon, I will have every Eevee evolution! NPC 31: Is this Enchestra City? Oh no, I must have taken the wrong road and ended up here... NPC 32: My husband has been seeing strange things recently, so I’ve kept him at home. NPC 33: I saw it I tell you. A man came around here doing puppet shows, and I swear I saw him turn into a pokemon when no one was looking! You’ve got to believe me! 33 is probably enough for a smaller town like this.
) 18463, 'Hey, just going to throw in some lines, I’m not sure where they’d fit, but if you need some filler, here you go! Male Surfer: Intro: I’ll leave you washed up on the shore! Defeat: Oooh... caught me at low tide... After victory: Well, nothing to do now but polish my board off and keep going! Intro: Hey dude/dudette, let’s battle! Defeat: Bummer, wipeout... After Victory: I don’t know why I start speaking like that... It must be the board, man. More filler up in a second, kinda going to post this in segments.
) 18469, 'Why not? Just cause the other towns are on hold for right now doesn’t mean trainers can’t be done. Encounter: Waahoo! I just had an energy drink, and I am hyped up! Defeat: I don’t feel so good anymore... Talk Again: Losing... energy... Encounter: You’ve gotta keep hydrated if you want to stay alert! Defeat: I’m really thirsty now. Talk Again: Remember to drink 8 glasses a day! Encounter: Mmm! This moomoo milk is just delicious! Defeat: It’s got lots of calcium too. Talk Again: I’ve heard there’s a big farm in Johto where moomoo milk is made. I’m thirsty.
) 18506, 'I approve of your approval of my fodder insertion... Approval. Alright, tossing up some more fodder. Surfers again: Intro: My board is the board that pierces the waves! Defeat: Who the heck do you think you are?! AV: I should’ve believed in my pokemon, who believe in me... (Blatant and necessary (?) TTGL surfer) Female Surfers: Intro: Tossing out a pokeball while trying to balance on the board is hard! Defeat: Whoaaa!... *splash* AV: blub, blub... Maybe I should stick to sunbathing.. Intro: Admit it, you came over just to talk to me! Defeat: Jeez, no need to be so stubborn about it...

AV: Just floating here brings a lot of people to me, somehow.. (This one is a bit iffy- the AV might need to be changed if she’s not in a fixed position, and, of course, the whole thing might be scrapped if it seems a bit odd in terms of a female main) Intro: I’m one of the best out here when it comes to surfing! Defeat: That doesn’t mean that I’m too good at Pokemon, though... AV: You just have to find your thing and stick with it, I guess. Intro: I love the green room! Defeat: Oooh, caught in the boneyard.. AV: Did I confuse you? Green room is the space inside a wave, and the boneyard is where the wave breaks. More later, going to move onto... some other kind of trainer. I can’t seem to get past glub glub for divers x.x
) 8919, 'This is not official, or anything of the like. It’d just be nice if we could promote a little more discussion by creating some lines NPCs would say. I’m in favour of NPCs that help you with things that aren’t so obvious, like: I was training my CIRROFT at Mt. Frost, and it evolved into FROSTORM! I’m going to start training my CIRROFT all over the place now! Maybe I’ll try the Eye of Sand next. I hear TUNDROLF and WOLVINE have a fierce rivalry. Perhaps if one defeats the other, something special happens? (Don’t like the wording for this one, but you get the point)
) 8923, 'I know I created a list of NPC lines a while ago that followed up everything through the demo..neon or Zero might be able to find it/have it from the old database, but I imagine that info, with a few things added/deleted here and there, could be very helpful. Unfortunately, since it is so old, I don’t have it anymore myself.
) 8924, 'They were fairly good too (Just to let you all know, there is no Mysterious Rival): Quote Neo Bay: NPC 1: Man, I never cease to be impressed! This is my third home, and the advances in science are just as amazing! NPC 2: I like going down to the bay and making footprints in the sand. But they always disappear...Why is that?, NPC 3: Hmm..what should I eat for lunch today..., NPC 4: Professor Willow sure is something! Did you hear? He’s already discovered a new batch of Pokemon! Maybe you should check them out, [Your Name]!, NPC 5: Zzzz...Zzzz....Huaghh...No, I swear it will be done soon...Zzzz..., NPC 6: Doo do de da didali diddy diddy...What? Can’t a person sing while they work? Sheesh...kids these days..., NPC 7: Have you ever noticed that some people will say the same thing over and over every time you talk to them? Weird, isn’t it?, NPC 8: *sigh* I miss her so~ My love lost on a stormy night~, Rival’s Mom: Hey, [Your Name]! You just missed [Rival’s Name.] [He/She] just went out for a bit of fresh air!, Professor’s Aide: Hello there! I work here as one of Professor Willow’s aides!, Professor’s Aide: The Professor is such a generous man! Giving deserving children their own Pokemon when they come of age...I wish I had that opportunity when I was younger!, Before Rival Battle (Nice Rival): Hey, [Trainer’s Name]! That’s a nice Pokemon you got there! Why don’t you say we have a little battle for some practice before you head out on your adventure!, Before Rival Battle: (Mean Rival) Hey, [Trainer’s Name]! What is that runt of a Pokemon you just picked? That thing couldn’t even hurt a fly if it tried! Come on! Let’s battle so I can put it out of its misery!, Before Rival Battle: (Mysterious Rival after walking out of lab) ....Come. We will do battle. No questions. Rival Loss (Nice Rival): [In Battle] Hey, not bad! You’re a natural at this!, [After Battle] You’re doing really well for just getting a Pokemon today! Let’s battle again sometime, so I can see how much better you’ve become!, Rival Loss (Mean Rival) [In Battle] WHAAAT?, [After Battle] But...but...that thing is a runt! How could it possibly beat me! You...you just got lucky, that’s all! We’ll meet again!, Rival Loss (Mysterious Rival) [In Battle] ...good. [After Battle] ...I shall see you again. Professor Willow [After Battle, After Rival Leaves] Good job, [Trainer Name!] You just got a Pokemon, and you’ve already won your first match! It took me weeks of training just to do what you did in 5 minutes! Very impressive. NPC Blocking Route [Before Rival Battle] Hey, there’s this wicked battle going on right now, and you wouldn’t want to get in the way, would you? Just wait around for a bit. , NPC Blocking Route [After Rival Battle] That battle was one of the best I’ve ever seen! It’s a shame you missed it. Route 204: (not sure if you’re having trainers on this route, so I’m putting in some trainer text) NPC 1: Hey! Check it out! You can find wild Pokemon in the tall grass! Sweet, huh? NPC 2: Well, there’s one thing to be said about Pokemon trainers; they sure do get their exercise. NPC 3: *sniff* My allergies...are...so bad right now...*sniff* Trainer 1: Hey! You looked me in the eye! Nobody ever looks me in the eye! You’ve got a lot of nerve, kid! [After Battle Victory] Humiliated...by a kid... NPC 5: Hey! I run the Pokemon Mart over in Cranewing City! It’s a great place for any aspiring trainer to visit on their quest. Hey, let me give you a free sample, as a bit of a promotion, you might say! [Receive Potion/Antidote/etc.] NPC 6: Have you noticed those trainer tool signs? Who puts those there? And what is a Start, and Save, button? I’m so confused... Trainer 2: Pssh! Who needs shorts? Pants are the way to go! [After Battle Victory] Pant, pant... Help Sign: TRAINER TOOLS: 1. If you want to stop your game at anytime, hit Start, then select Save. Cranewing City NPC 1: Welcome to Cranewing, the City of Glass! NPC 2 [inside house] Ahh...nothing like the smell of charcoal and glass to wake you up in the morning. NPC 3 [inside house] Ugh! I can’t stand this smell! NPC 4: Have you heard the story about the legendary glassmakers of this town? [Y/N] [If Y] Well, then I guess you already know all I would have to tell you. [If N] Well, why don’t you go and speak to them, then? They’re all over town. NPC 5: Puff...puff...Glassblowing is fun! Puff...puff... NPC 6: *cough cough* I got too close to a pile of charcoal...*cough cough* NPC 7: Hey! You look like a tough trainer! Why don’t you go and test your mettle against Froy? He’s a pretty cool customer, even if he is surrounded by fire. NPC 8: Ugh...that journey through Route 204 took a lot out of me...I better go rest up at the Pokemon Center... NPC 9: Spinarak, use Poison Sting!...NO! NOT STRING SHOT, POISON STING! GAH! YOU’RE SO USELESS! Spinarak: Keeskeech! NPC 10: Hmm...what to buy today...Shoes, or shoes? Shoes...or shoes... NPC 11: Mm...Kingler Brand Charcoal...I’d use nothing else for my barbeque! NPC 12: This cup right here, it’s nothing less than GLASSYLICIOUS!...Wait, why did I just say that? NPC 13: Lalala...lalala...Doing nothing...lalala... Pokemon Center in Cranewing: Nurse Joy: Welcome to the Pokemon Center! We can get your Pokemon back into perfect shape! Would you like us to do that? [Y/N] [If Y] Ok! Just wait here for a moment....Thank you for waiting! Your Pokemon are back to perfect help. Hope to see you again! [If N] We hope to see you again! NPC 1: New to Cranewing? Yeah, you look it. Well, if you’re planning on beating Froy, you’re gonna be visiting here a lot more often! Haha! NPC 2: Mmm, Nurse Joy is so dreamy...Hey! Why are you looking at me that way? NPC 3: Hey! Want a cup of coffee with me? No? That’s a shame, you look tired. NPC 4: I’m so jealous...This computer is WAY better than the one I have at home...*sigh* Pokemon Mart in Cranewing: NPC 1: Gosh, everything is so expensive here. NPC 2: What? I can’t get my shopping done in here! Why is it called a mart, if I can’t even buy groceries? Store Clerk: Welcome to the Pokemon Mart! How can I help you?[List of Items] [Item]? You’re buying [Amount]? That’ll come to [Final Price]. If buying: Thanks a lot! Do you want anything else?, If not buying: Oh, just window shopping, eh? Well, you want to look at anything else?, If canceling: Thanks a lot for stopping by, come again!, Gym: Helpful Dude at Front: Hey, future Pokemon cham-peen! I’m no trainer, but I can give you some helpful advice! If you want to become a better battler, you better listen up! [Y/N] [Y]Okay, here’s the deal. Froy’s got it cool when it comes to handling Fire Pokemon! If you’re one of those nature loving Grass types, Froy’s gonna burn you alive! Counter his fiery spirit with a good douse of water! [N]What? You don’t want to become a Pokemon cham-peen? Trainer 1: You think you’ve even got a chance against Froy? You gotta get through me first, and trust me, you got no fire compared to me!, [After Victory] Sheesh! Too hot to handle!, Trainer 2: Froy’s been my mentor for as long as I can remember. If I still can’t beat him, then you have no chance of beating me! [After Victory] Oh, snap! Not bad, kid! Not bad! Froy: An expertly blown piece of glass. Flawless. No matter how hard you look, you won’t find a single imperfection. That is how I strive to live my life. My Pokemon recognize this, and have become expertly tuned to my feelings. Do you think you can break their fiery exterior? Let’s get it on. [After Victory] Your skill...it can douse even the strongest of fires. Take this Glass Badge. You deserve it.’ </td> </tr> </table></div>

) 9006, '(NPC that gives you the Twilight Crest): The TWILIGHT CREST is very strange... I have heard rumours of POKEMON reacting strongly to it. A CACTURNE stomping around and grasping its head. A MURKROW cackling cruelly. An ABSOL, disappearing for days at a time. Very strange indeed. (T_T)

) 17439, 'We should probably do some softwind ones for the demo: NPC 1: Hi there, welcome to Softwind City. You must be a pokemon trainer, correct? New trainers come through here all the time. NPC 2: The large towers here signify the protectors of Softwind. This place sure has a long history! NPC 3: Wow, this place is really something. ) 17448, 'Softwind Pokemart: NPC 1: Let’s see... I’ll need to stock up on potions before going into Chartree forest. Potions heal your pokemon by 20 HP. NPC 2: You should really carry status healers with you for long expeditions. You never know what could happen out there! Plus there’s the clerk dude, same as the other one. Softwind Pokemon Center: NPC 1: I just got my seventh pokemon, but I dont know what happened to it... What? It’s in the PC storage system? NPC 2: My pokemon got paralyzed by an AMPURE. It couldn’t attack as quickly, so I lost the battle. Paralysis is a tough condition to battle with! NPC 3: I’m so glad pokemon centers are free. If they weren’t, my pokemon would never get healed because I’ve got no money. More outside people: NPC 5: Ahhh! The air is so clean here! This place is much healthier than my home at Collossus City. NPC 6: Have you ever considered giving your pokemon nicknames? It lets you personalize your parteners. I’ve heard somewhere that there is a man who will rate the nicknames of your pokemon and let you change them. (This one could be split into two, like a couple standing next to each other) NPC 7: Therma is a good person. She teaches the young children of our city how to read and write. If there were more people like her, this world would be a better place. NPC 8: The weather here is quite mild compared to other areas of this reigon. There are some tall mountains west of here where the weather is quite harsh!
) 17449, 'Those are very good. They aren’t as funny as Piro’s but they’re informative and you need some of that for Pokemon games.
) 17454, 'QUOTE: NPC 7: Have you ever noticed that some people will say the same thing over and over every time you talk to them? Weird, isn’t it?, That’s my favorite one of his. About how many people will be in each city?
) 17456, 'A couple more for softwind: NPC 9: The three towers here... They stand for the elements fire, electric, and ice. Our legends say that each tower was once roosted upon by legendary bird pokemon from Kanto. NPC 10: The Softwind orphanage was started by a man named Fuji while on vacation from his home in Kanto. NPC 11 (Person next to NPC 6): He names all our pokemon after vegetables... (Sandshrew in room named Rutabega)
) 17465, 'Inside of the houses hasn’t been determined yet, but: 4 in Neo Bay 4 in Sunset Village (1 with a Pokemon) 5-6 in Softwind City I’m not actually sure how many in Cranewing City, probably as many as there are relevant NPC lines right now.
) 17487, 'Okay it took a little bit, but here are the approximate numbers of NPCs in each town for pokemon ruby for reference: Littleroot town: 8 Oldale town: 11 Petalburg city: 16 Rustboro city: 47 Dewford town: 18 Slateport city: 66 Mauvile city: 28 Vertandurf town: 20 Fallarbor town: 14 Lavaridge town: 16 Fortree city: 24 Lilycove city: 100+ (I lost count) Mossdeep city: 30 Sootopolis city: 24 Pacifidlog town: 16 Ever Grande city: 4 Battle Tower: 8 This does not include Nurses, Pokemart clerks, pokemon, or anyone inside a pokemon gym. Looks like we’ll have a lot more to do if we want to be near these numbers.
) 17495, 'Here’s some that might fit in Collosus city, I pictured this place to be a little unfriendly, since most of the other places are nice and happy. These might work in Icthyes as well.: NPC 1: Get outta the way, kid! Can’t you see I’m in a hurry? NPC 2: ...Hmph... Got a problem? Move along before you get hurt! NPC 3: Lets see... oh no! I’m late for my next meeting! Sign: Collosus department store: Everything you could ever want and more. Sign: Get the new Serber-I security system straight for the laboratories of Icthyes City! It’s four times more efficient than last years model at only six times the cost! NPC 4: Ahhh, the department store! A perfect place for someone rich like myself!
) 17499, 'I like them. It’s a good idea to make Colossus City seem like a really cold, industry driven place.
) 17504, 'I can’t remember if the game corner is in Icthyes or Collosus, but i’ll do some for it anyway: NPC 1: Hi there, welcome to the Rocket Game Corner! Do you need some coins? Its 1000p for 50 coins, would you like some?{50,500,n} 50: Thank you! Here are your 50 coins! 500: Thank you! Here are your 500 coins! No: Oh. Please return when you have more money. NPC 2: You can exchange your coins for wonderful prizes next door! NPC 3: Wow, this place really has no moral standards. They let small children gamble in here... NPC 4: Hehehehe! I’m really rakin’ it in today! NPC 5: Maybe i’ll just take a few spins on my lunch break... NPC 6: I’d like to gamble, put I lost my coin case somewhere. NPC 7: Hey, kid! You want to play too? (gives you 30 coins) NPC 8: I’m trying to concentrate here! Take some coins and leave! (gives you 20 coins) NPC 9: Hopefully I won’t get my clock cleaned like I did yesterday.
) 17509, 'waht r u gonna do for the scuba divers??? i noticed yall’ve got a bunch of people to work with but what about them cause they’re underwater.... Encounter:glub, glub, glubglub, glub.... NPC Defeated:glub, glub, glub... Talk more: glubity glub glubglub...
) 17518, 'How about a couple of the surfer trainers? Encounter: Why are you riding on a pokemon when you could be using a board? Defeat: Oops. Talk Again: I gotta work on keeping my balance when i’m battling, man. Encounter: Dude, did you see me catch that tasty barrel? Defeat: Aww, weak, man! Talk Again: You’re a better battler, but i’m the number one surfer around here, bro. Encounter: These waves are soooo tubular man! Defeat: Wipeout! Talk Again: I should teach my pokemon surf so it could ride the waves with me. Encounter: This is my first time surfing. A battle? Okay, lets go! Defeat: You sure pulled me under! Talk Again: I stink at this... I haven’t caught a wave all day... Encounter: Man, I am shreddin’ today! Defeat: Oh no! Board rash! Talk Again: I’m getting tired, dude. Maybe I should call it a day.
) 17519, 'Good stuff. The first one though should probably say a little more than Oops. It seems a little too simple there and doesn’t fit with the rest of his style of speech.
) 17523, 'Yeah that’s true, how about<b></b>: Defeat: Maybe I should ride my pokemon too...
) 17530, 'I was thinking of doing some for portwind and gallea, but they seem a lot alike, and the map dosen’t provide a whole lot of information. Is there anything else that seperates the two cities? Also, I couldn’t find it on the FAQ, but are we doing pokemon contests in this game? (It says yes on the site map, but then again the site map also says suicune and entei are in the game.)If we are, It would help because those are fairly easy, and there’s a lot of them. (Lilycoves contest hall has like 25 people in it.)
) 17532, 'Portwind is home to a shipping company. Gallea is a bit bigger, has a rival battle with Bradley, and has a lot more going on in general. Neither have a map yet though.
) 17533, 'Are we doing contests because the map says gallea has a contest hall.
) 17534, 'Very likely not. That was from a time in Pokerealm when people thought we can do anything. There is a chance, it’s just not likely.
) 17543, 'well the buildings r there in the tilesets the question is can we get someone to write the script for it... in mine i’m gonna have the contests cause the region i’m working on is connected to Hoenn so a lot of things going on there are going on in my region cause of the connections...

) 17545, 'Here’s some for Gallea and Portwind like I promised: SIGN: Gallea City: The great port of Kirant. NPC 1: We ship out loads of goods to Portwind every day! NPC 2: I want to go play on the beach, but the docks take up the whole thing! NPC 3: We’re going for a ride on my fathers yacht! NPC 4: Her father owns lots of the trade ships here. NPC 5: I’m only friends with her for her money. NPC 6: Where did you start your journey with pokemon? It’s a lot harder for trainers here, since all the gyms are in Caldera... SIGN: Gallea Shipyard NPC 7: We can ship cargo to Portwind, but it’s not easy getting stuff to Icthyes. NPC 8: Hmm. We’ll have to put a bigger rudder on this one. NPC 9: But boss, the new rudders don’t come in ‘til next week! NPC 10: This place is actually pretty close to the Pokemon League! But knowing that is pointless unless you’ve got eight badges! NPC 11: The fishing industry here is underrated. Icthyes City steals our thunder when it comes to that. NPC 12 (pokemon trade idea): Hey there! I’ve been looking everywhere for a SERAPH, but I just cant find one! Will you trade one for my PHANTASOMO? {y,n} y: Thanks, let’s get this trade started! n: Oh well, I guess i’ll keep looking... NPC 13: I cant seem to find my precious ZANGOOSE anywhere. ZANGOOSE, where are you? (Zangoose standing behind him: kekasharrr!) NPC 14: Pokemon won’t obey you if you don’t have enough badges. Just look at that idiot over there... NPC 15: There sure are a lot of people here. This place is almost as popular as Collosus! NPC 16: Although this place is industry driven, We’ve still maintained a nice atmosphere. NPC 17: Everyone in this city only cares about how much better it is than other places! All I hear is bragging about how much nicer it is here! Portwind is way better! In Pokecenter: NPC 18: One day, i’m going to be a famous explorer! I’ll conquer the uncharted territory of chartree forest! ...You’ve already been there?! NPC 19: If my pokemon knew how to Dive, I could explore the deep sea trench in the southern sea! NPC 20: My kids only care about exploring. I wish the older one would get a job instead... Pokemart: NPC 21: Great balls work much better than poke balls for all around use. NPC 22: Using a revive will bring a pokemon out from fainting. It dosen’t restore PP though! More outside people: NPC 23: I think i’ll take a trip to Laysan town and get some berries. NPC 24: We need to load 20 more boxes of cargo on this ship! Move it, boys, what am I payin’ ya for! NPC 25: -grunt- This is hard work! NPC 26: We’re you’re sons, you don’t pay us at all! NPC 27: How long have you been on your journey? Adventuring is nice, but your mother is probably worried about you. You should visit your home from time to time. NPC 28: Mmm... I wonder what mom’s making for dinner tonight? NPC 29: I think i’ll take a stroll down the beach today. NPC 30: 1,2,3,4, RAWK! Oh, what? Sorry, I was listening to my headphones too loudly. NPC 31: I wish there was a department store here. It would be easier to get my shopping done. NPC 32: I’m saving up to go on a trip to Johto. I hear Jasmine is pretty... NPC 33: I’m always down here picking up trash off the beach. Keep our city clean! NPC 34: You have to go through a tunnel to reach Sedcini City. NPC 35: I’m working here so I can marry my love in Portwind City. Ohh Eric, one day we’ll be together... Portwind: SIGN: Portwind City: Gateway to the southern sea. NPC 1: Hi, welcome to Portwind City! ...don’t know why you’d come here though... NPC 2: There’s nothing for us kids to do aroung here! NPC 3: I wish I lived in Enchestra City instead. NPC 4: I actually like this place. It has a small town feel. NPC 5: The only jobs aroung here are for the Portwind Shipping Company. SIGN: Portwind Shipping CO. HQ: Bringing the good of the world to you! NPC 6: Hi, welcome the the Portwind Shipping Company Headquarters. How may I help you? NPC 7: This where all the sea trade in Kirant is processed! NPC 8: We recieve cargo from Gallea, Icthyes, and even Vermillion City in Kanto. NPC 9: I’m working on a way to make our ships have more storage capacity. NPC 10: Hiya! I’m the president of the company! This place was barley even a town when I started this company here! Now it’s making progress. One day, Portwind city could be the envy of this whole region! NPC 11: Alright, we’ve got to unload this cargo into the loading bay! NPC 12: These boxes are heavier than they were when we loaded them... NPC 13: This is tough work, but the pay is better than you’d think. Someday, I’ll be able to finally marry my sweet Sarah... Pokecenter: NPC 14: I need to get a town map so I won’t get lost on my way to Enchestra City. NPC 15: My friend here is a total dweeb! All you do is turn left after like five minutes of walking and you can see the city! Pokemart: NPC 16: Full Heal will cure any status problem, but they are more expensive. You get what you pay for, I guess... Put that in your proverbial pipe and smoke it!
) 17548, 'That is... awesome to say the least. That’s so much stuff we can use, that’s great! I like the idea of a Phantasomo/Seraph trade, both are semi-rare and are pretty good trade Pokemon. Lots of good stuff, it really seems like the cities have some life. Particularly the Zangoose one...
) 18552, 'To be honest I don’t think divers really need more than versions of glub glub and GLUUUUUBBB!! The latter being for Kraklaw sightings and defeat of course.
) 18561, 'yeah, i’d have to agree with IB on that...
) 18570, 'It would definently make it easier
) 18599, 'Here’s 2 for male surfers that i made: Intro: Let’s see if i can surf this epic wave of a battle! Defeat: Whoa, total wipe-out! AV: heh...heh...(aka, panting) Intro: Hey, are those surfer chicks over there? Defeat: Gah! I let them distract me from the battle... AV: Man, in a battle you gotta stay real...Hey are those Surfer Chicks over there? They’re not that good, but they pertain to a guy surfers attitude sorta...
) 18602, 'They give the surfer character a distinct personality, which is good for a trainer type like them.
) 18605, 'cool, glad you like them!
) 18705, 'More people at Orange Treecko Bar and Grill: Man at table for four: That was delicious, what’s for dessert honey? Woman next to Man: On Cellphone: Yes, the merger will go through, what in the world could go wrong? Off Cellphone: Honey, we’re getting the most expensive dessert here, with my pay I have money to burn. Teenage Girl across from Man: On Cellphone: So like, he said that.... oh, hold on. Off Cellphone: What do you want, can’t you see I’m on the phone. Back on Cellphone: So like I was saying..... At the Bar: Man: Ahhhhh.... they have the best drinks here. Man next to him: You know, you remind me of my son/daughter, only they would never leave this city. Man next to him: *Hic* I think I had one *hic* too many *hic* Man next to him: Zzzzzzz...ZZzzzz...Zzzzzz... Man next to him: Ha, Ha, Ha. The landlubber had one too many he did, now he’s sleeping in his [insert name of dish here]. Woman next to him: Ahhhhh.... Get me another Bartender, by the way, you look really handsome. Bartender: This is why I don’t like when women get drinks here, they always hit on me. Old Woman Next to Bartender: I’m his mother. I still can’t believe he doesn’t take these women seriously, date one and move out finally! I got bored, began thinking about the resturant and thought of these lines.
) 18710, 'lol, these look great to me! though, for the first man next to him, instead of only they would never leave this city, how about though they’ve never left this city?
) 18717, 'Perhaps someone in the corner of the bar could be an old sailor who tells the story of the Sunken Ship Plot, and later, the Typhinda/Kipporok plot. Man near bar: That old guy over there will tell you some crazy stories about pirates if you’re willing to listen. That’s what happens when you see the world through the bottom end of a whiskey bottle... Old Salt: Hey there sonny! If’n you’ve got the time, I can spin you a tale of courage and dispair on the high seas! It goes like this... There was a dastardly pirate long ago named Captain Barnacle. He and his pirate crew terrorized the high seas for many years, and they stole much loot from anyone they could find. But the good captain was a brash and arrogant man, and one day he stopped praying to the lord of the oceans, beliving that he didn’t need it’s protection. When he and his crew were out trying to capture the valuable Goldrake, one of the ocean lord’s powerful minions appeared and sank Captain Barnacle’s boat. They say the same beast still guards the haunted sunken ship, where Barnacle and his now ghostly crew are surrounded by Goldrake that they can’t capture! Well, that’s it lad. Don’t go runnin’ off to the ship just because of what I told ye here though! After visiting Sunken Ship: Ah, if it isn’t the laddie that I told that old story to. Of course you went to the ship after hearin’ me tale. Everyone I tell it to does, but most never come back! After visiting Sunken Ship and Starlight Cave: Welcome back laddie! I can tell you the rest of the tale If’n you’ve got the time. It goes like this... After the lord of the oceans’ minion sank Barnacle’s ship, it angered the pokemon in charge of calming it down. This pokemon was called Kipporok, and it was much less prone to outbursts of anger. It was appalled by the destruction of the good captains’ ship, and so it used it’s power to seal the exit to the ocean lord’s domain, so that it could not escape and cause more havoc, nor send any more minons to do his bidding for him. However, the ocean lord grew even more angry, and it’s fury could not be contained for long. As we speak, there is a massive whirlpool raging near Aquapolis city. I wonder what’s happenin’ there? Uh yeah, so we were thinking that the sailors would not speak of Typhinda by name, since they were afraid of it’s wrath, which explains the lord of the oceans thing.

) 18719, 'I can see a bunch of sailors quivering in fear at the mention of Typhidna. It looks pretty good, though I think early on the player should be given the choice whether to listen to the story or not. Otherwise a simple accidental hitting of z will send people off for a good minute or so.
) 18720, 'Yeah, that’s a good idea to reduce annoyance levels. But if they talk to him again and hit yes again it’s their own fault.
) 18725, 'wow, those look really good to me
) 18925, 'Well, back to Topaz I guess... finally got my workload whittled down to a minimum. Hikers (Preferable to have this one just outside one of the larger cities) Intro: Ah, good! I have my next bit of action planned out now! Defeat: This was a road too dangerous to traverse... After Battle: No city should be too large for a man to walk out of in a morning. (This one possibly on an elevated pathway?) Intro: I’ll take the high road and you take the low road... Defeat: I guess my way was the only option there ever was. After Battle: It’s better exercise to walk along sloped ground. Intro: I’ve just hit my stride! Come run your team by me! Defeat: Ooh, cramp, ow... After battle: I’m limping, but that’s still walking! Intro: Bwahaha! This crisp, fresh air makes me feel invincible! Defeat: *Cough, hack, wheeze*... After Battle: I think I’m allergic to something around here... *sniff* Always around for more fodder- and hopefully I’ll throw in a hiker sprite to go with these later if I can find the time to.
) 18941, 'Some guy around Portwind or Icthyes: Encounter: Hey, which way is Chartree Forest from here? Defeat: Oh no, that’s not good. Talk Again: I had my map upside down the whole time!
) 18946, 'lol, to both RP, and Jupies Lines...
) 18951, 'Fodder’s what I do best :F Thinking of some lines for gamblers- I don’t know where they’d fit in, outside of Icthyes or Colossus, depending on where the game corner is, but I guess they could be littered in diners or wherever.
) 18953, 'Got another line/easter egg: Some random person on a route: My EQUILL is strong, but it’s not very very good at dodging. C’mon EQUILL, do a barrel roll!
    ) 18955, 'lol, Peppy quote...
) 18967, 'okay good, as long as some people get it, its totally worth it.
    ) 18980, 'lol
) 19006, 'wow i leave for a while and come back for 3 more pages of quotes... that is funny for the last npc line posted... out of the ones i’ve seen so far all look pretty good but i’ve got 3 pages to look at completely.... and i cant see anything past the glubing for the divers... course i figure some could just say ... when u meet them cause not everyone would want to battle with you...
) 19669, 'I’m hoping this isn’t bumping an old topic, but I want to post something to keep this alive. You know how Colossus City completely abandons the pokemon concept of an eco-friendly city? Well, I was thinking that we could have a person or trainer who breaks the fourth wall near Colossus and say something like: Person/Trainer: The creator of Pokemon envisioned eco-friendly cities and towns. Just look at this. If Trainer(After he loses): I lost because I was distracted by Colossus. If Trainer(Talk to him later): What an abandonment of traditional pokemon concepts. Well, I guess that’s a fan game for you. So, I’m sorry if this is bumping, but I wanted to post this and see what people thought.
) 19685, 'Could work. Breaking the fourth wall is IIRC something Pokemon tends to do a fair amount as well (boys playing gameboy, etc.). And I don’t think this topic will become old in the traditional sense for a while, since we’ll need these until we either get a full, every NPC script (unlikely) or finish the game.
) 19697, 'Yeah, this is one of those ones that will always need new ideas, which is something I’ve been neglecting for quite a while. It was so much easier during the summer when I first joined. Hopefully winter break will free up my time more.
) 19870, 'Some random gambler Before battle: hey Sonney*, could I have a few coins**? Loss: I’ll take that as a no After Battle: Gee, I ran out of coins... *Lass if playing as girl) **Or whatever is used at the game corner Dragon Taimer Before Battle: You there! Feel thy Dragon-y wrath! Loss: My Dragon-y wrath was no enough for a win After Battle: My Dragon-y Wrath has never failed me before...Sob
) 19871, 1261456832, 2, 1, 0, 'Orange Islands is having like the greatest promo ever right now. You can pick any base 600’s first evo, and they all have a special move and are colored gold, silver, or crystal. I got myself a crystal fercoa.
) 17552, 'Thanks, I think they would be good candidates for an in-game trade. I’m thinking of doing Enchestra City next, It seems like it would be fairly simple. Is there anything besides what the map says that I should know about it? (Although the map provides plenty of info already, I can get most of what I need out of tourist trap.)
) 17556, 'The city is really artsy and very aesthetics-centred. It’s supposed to be pretty much the opposite of Colossus City, and there are no shipyards and docks. It’s the location of the Turquoise Gem, so there would probably be a building guarding that or showcasing it. Also, there’s supposed to be two jewelers who make accessories but that might need to be reworked.
) 17558, 'What about like a high-end resort as well? It would be really easy do do lines for that. What is the purpose of the Turquoise Gem anyway? (it might help)
    ) 17559, 'There’s a Rocket/Orion battle over it.
) 17566, 'Alright, here we go on Enchestra City: SIGN: Enchestra City: A little piece of paradise for everyone. NPC 1: Welcome to Enchestra City! Would you like a lay? (In hawaii they give you lays right when you get off the airplane) NPC 2: We’re her on our honeymoon! NPC 3: Oh honey, this place is wonderful! NPC 4: Ahh... Lying on the beach is so relaxing... NPC 5: My MEOWTH picks up shells from the beach for me! (MEOWTH: meeooow!) NPC 6: I forgot to put on sunscreen, and some punk kid wrote on my back with it! NPC 7: Hehe... I wrote on that guy’s back with sunscreen while he was asleep! NPC 8: The beaches here sure are gorgeous! This place is a tropical paradise! SIGN: STARYU RESORT: Wash away your stress here! -Caldera/Kirant Commerce Association NPC 9: Hello sir, welcome to the staryu resort. I’m afraid we have no rooms available at this time, but you could sleep in the broom closet! Haha... NPC 10: There’s no rooms left?! Oh no, I guess we should have gotten a reservation... NPC 11: The room service here is fantastic! NPC 12: I’m the maid. I wish I could sleep in these rooms instead of cleaning them... HOTEL BOARD: NOTICE: Please to not enter the rooms of other guests without their permission! If you want to do what gamefreak does and have people stay in a hotel room after the elite four, this is the place for it. NPC 13 (Whitney from Johto): Say, do you happen to be a pokemon trainer? I run a pokemon gym in another reigion. I came here to see new places because I got a bit bored. There’s no place like this anywhere near where I live! SIGN: Seaside Jewelers: Kirant’s number-one jewelry establishment! -Caldera/Kirant Commerce Association NPC 14: This jewelry store has all sorts of fasonable items on display, though I don’t know why you’d be in here... NPC 15: My wife just spent a fortune on a shell necklace... NPC 16: Hey there, kid! This is a jewelry store, however, I do have one thing that might be useful for you. It’s called a shell bell. It’s an item that restores your pokemon’s HP when it hits the enemy! It’s yours for 8000! {y,n} y: All right, here you go! n: No? well it’ll be here waiting for you if you change your mind! NPC 17: The cafe here is nice, but most people go over to Icthyes and eat at the Orange Treeko. (This name should be changed to a pokemon that’s in the game) SIGN: Enchestra Cafe -Caldera/Kirant Commerce Association NPC 18: Welcome, our special tonight is fresh Icthyes Goldrake sauteed in our award-winning spices on top of angel hair pasta. NPC 19: Waiter, can I get another drink? NPC 20: I wonder what the dessert is today? NPC 21: The owner of this place also owns the Orange Treeko in Icthyes. NPC 22: Mommy, can I get an ice cream? Please? NPC 23: Oh... all right, but make it quick! NPC 24: Want some ice cream? We’ve got 15 different flavors, y’know! NPC 25: Unlike most people, we actually live here. NPC 26: I wish the tourists would be quieter. They sometimes keep me up at night! NPC 27: Work was a killer last week! I’m here to cut loose! NPC 28: I think I’m going to visit the art museum. It’s rumored that they have a special gem on exhibit as well. NPC 29: Hello there, welcome to the Enchestra Art Museum. Feel Free to examine the works of art we have on display, as well as the Turquiose Gem on the top floor. (You could make this like the Space Center or Oceanic Museum in Emerald during the battle.) NPC 30: I’ve brought my son along to see the works of art. NPC 31: This is so boring... NPC 32: This painting has a deep meaning... If only I knew what it was... NPC 33: Wow, that is one big gemstone. NPC 34: It’s so sparkly... I can tell it’s something special! Pow. I’m on fire today!

) 17571, 'Hmm... Maybe a bit more of the cultural centre dialogue and (though the tourism makes sense) just a little bit less of the running around on the beach? Otherwise quite good, the sunscreen part made me smile, and we can definitely work the Hotel in. Some of your stuff has real flavour, I like it (you can sleep in the broom closet haha was a favourite of mine). The Orange Treeko Bar &amp; Grill is an old Pokerealm reference that people want to keep, so that’s why we haven’t changed it.
) 17574, 'Really small note, but it’s spelled lei, not lay. [/end-miniscule-nitpicking]
) 17576, 'Quote <div> Originally Posted by <strong>Red Rocket</strong>Really small note, but it’s spelled lei, not lay. ) 17587, 'It was pretty easy to do those, some cities are a lot easier than others.
) 17589, 'We will need a lot more for Collosus, so I’ll do some more for there. Inside the department store: NPC 5: The ultra ball is excellent for capturing rare pokemon. It’s much better than a great ball. NPC 6: The vending machine drinks are not only delicious, but good for you and your pokemon. Especially the lemonade! It’s so... lemony! NPC 7: They have some pretty good TMs on sale here. I’m gonna beef up my trusty CACKINGE with ‘em! (CACKINGE: kigasheee!) NPC 8: My pokemon have been power-packed ever since I gave them vitamins! NPC 9: Heh, I lifted these super potions without getting caught! One day I’ll be a master criminal! NPC 10: I tasted a protein vitamin, and I gotta tell ya, those things are horrible! NPC 11: I’m tired out from all this shopping! NPC 12: Are they having a sale today? NPC 13: What kind of a department store is this if you can’t buy clothes? Outside: NPC 14 (some guy in an alley): Psst! Hey, kid! I sell rare items that you won’t find anywhere else. They’re expensive, but with them you might avoid paying a much higher price in battle! ( This guy could sell hold items like king’s rock or one of each element stone, I though he’d be good for the image of the city) NPC 15: I’m here on a buisness meeting from Portwind City as a representative for the Portwind Shipping Company. I hope Portwind never ends up like this horrible place... NPC 16: What’s that guy doing in that alley? He looks shady... NPC 17: I’m the police chief of this town. The city government won’t provide us with enough funding to do our jobs! We can’t keep the streets clean with just two of us! NPC 18: I’m Jeff, and I’m the law around here! BZZT! Oops, I tazed myself! NPC 19 (Guy in jail): I can’t believe I got caught by these losers... NPC 20: This place isn’t as bad as everyone says it is. Besides the fact that I have to have my CRAGOYLE out to deter muggers on my way to work, this place is probably like any other big city! (CRAGOYLE: wahwaoor!) NPC 21: The air here is really polluted... I have some other work to do, so I’ll finish this up this afternoon.
) 17590, 'NPC 22: Ugh, this place is so unclean Koffing and Grimer have been spawning everywhere. Maybe I’ll take a trip to Cetacea Town for some fresh air...
) 17592, 'NPC 23: So...*cough*...much...*cough*...pollution...can’t. ..*cough cough* breathe...*cough cough cough*...I hate...this *cough* stupid...*cough*...city... NPC 24: That guy next to me, having a coughing fit? Yeah, that started not long after I traded him my Koffing about a week ago....probably not the best move, huh? NPC 25: Because the water around here is so polluted, Collossus has to import millions of gallons of Fresh Water a year to give people something healthy to drink around here. Of course, that means the city taxes us citizens that much more to help pay for it.... NPC 26: Hey, I’m Sal Gore, and I’ve been living here for a few years, trying to teach the people of Colossus about the dangers of global warming. Obviously, it’s not working....you don’t waste energy, do you? I mean, just think of the poor POLARA! NPC 27: Me, I love plants with a passion. In fact, I’ve been trying to start up a garden on the roof of my apartment building ever since I moved here, but the plants keep dying....am I doing something wrong?
) 17594, 'Nice stuff, Red Rocket. The cities are starting to take on some life
) 17595, 'Late, but building on the Game Corner stuff a bit (by one person).... NPC 10: Don’t believe what those responsible people tell you! Gambling is GOOD for you! Um. Anyway. Probably will do some other random city picked at random (maybe Frost Town or whatever it’s called) later.... EDIT: well, it’s not Frost town, but I do have a random trade request thingy from Hollowlog or something; NPC ??? (old guy/trade request): A while back, the countryside was flooded with cute little EMBEAR, but now there are hardly any....I miss the good old days. Say, if you had an EMBEAR, might you be willing to trade it to me? I’d trade you my trusty CACNEA for it. (if Yes: ) Why, thank you! You’re a good person! I feel the nostalgia flowing through me already.... (if No: ) You can’t find one, either? My, my, what is this world coming to....
) 17597, 'Those are great! Before I work more on Collosus, Are there any more that are needed for the demo? Those take priority over the other cities.
) 17599, 'I don’t think so. There’s the one guy on the first route who gives you a promo item for a PokeMart or something, but that’s about it.
) 17600, 'oh, you mean the obligitory free potion? First Encounter: Hi there! I work at the Pokemart in Sunset Village. A Pokemart has all sorts of items to help you and your pokemon out. Sales have been slow recently, so I’ve been instructed to hand out free Potions to everyone I see. Here you go! Talk Again: Potions are essential items to carry around. Make sure you stock up at the Pokemart!
) 17612, 'I think the talk again should be something like this: Talk Again: Potions restore 20 HP to a Pokemon and can be used even in battle. They can bring back your Pokemon from the brink of death so make sure you stock up at the Pokemart! But otherwise pretty good.
) 17619, 'I’ll try to get up to around 50 or so, Collosus should be a high population city: NPC 28: I’m a city health inspector. The life expectancy here is deplorable... SIGN: Collosus Apartments: Good living, Collosal rooms! NPC 29: One day, I’ll have a place of my own! NPC 30: We’re living here until we can scrounge up the money to move. NPC 31: I love watching TV! They have some great programs on these days! NPC 32: My husband is getting fatter every day... DOOR: Do Not Disturb. NPC 33: What, what, is the rent due already? Look, I don’t have it yet! Oh, the landlord didn’t send you? That’s a relief! Pokemon Center: NPC 34: I’m just gonna deliver the package and get back to Dynamo Gardens straight away. NPC 35: My pokemon is gasping for air! The pollution is affecting it strangely! (Cirroft: Cullooon...) Outside: NPC 36: Hack! Cough! This city is cough... not a good place for someone with asthma... People in factories: NPC 37: We’re 100 short on production today! Lets keep it moving, people! NPC 38: People blame the pollution on us, but this city would be nothing without the factories! NPC 39: Profits are way up this quarter! NPC 40: These factories are causing the increase of the grimer population around here! NPC 41: Whistle while you work! NPC 42: These boxes are bound for Icthyes city, and those go to Kalypso! NPC 43: I’ve been working hard all day! I need a break! NPC 44: That guy is such a wuss! He takes a break every 20 minutes! NPC 45: I’m the CEO of this company. I think I’m going to take a vacation in Enchestra next week! If you have any more questions, you can speak to my lawyer! Hmmph! NPC 46: You know, no studies have been done to see if the pollution from this factory harms the envirionment. This company is free from any liability! NPC 47: Whew, my shift’s almost up! NPC 48: I’ve got a full day ahead of me! Some people in a house: NPC 49: The factory is up and running 24 hours a day. I can’t get any shuteye! NPC 50: I’m going to file a noise complaint, so help me! This place has a lot of material now.
) 17625, 'Yup. We could probably somehow integrate the factory in as a sidequest. Finding a way to make it run cleaner or something.
) 17636, 'I’ll do Laysan town next. Anything important about there besides the berry shop?
) 17638, 'From what I’ve posted on OI (My own take on Laysan): In between two groves of trees, branches hanging low with Berries, lies the Open Air Market. Laysan Town’s famous market is held every day, and boasts a variety of products, some of which can not be found anywhere else. Rain or shine, the market opens its doors to the hardy merchants that have carted merchandise from as far away has Frost Town. Laysan Town’s soft, loamy soil and bright, sunny days make it the perfect place for growing berries. In fact, each and every inhabitant in Laysan Town knows how to grow berries better than anyone else in the region! However, the mountain terrain surrounding the town had made trade difficult. Also, something we might be able to fit in but isn’t official per se: The little girl Trovelle would like to go see her mother in Portwind City. However, her father can’t afford to leave his business to go visit, and doesn’t want to let her go alone on the ferry. The obvious solution? Send her off with a complete stranger, of course. Technically there’s also supposed to be a contest hall but as before it might not happen. Laysan Town, is fairly small and remote, secluded due to being in a nice mountain valley. There’d probably also be a river running through, but that’s my own speculation.

) 17639, 'Here we go on Laysan, I’m thinking 20-25 people here: SIGN: Laysan Town: Where nature’s bounty is shared with all. NPC 1: Welcome! I assume your here for the market? NPC 2: This place is lively, but there’s not that much to do except fish and go to the market. NPC 3: Our town has a secret method for growing berries that has been passed down from generation to generation. NPC 4: The only outside visitors we usually get are traders, and even then, it’s not that many people. NPC 5: My grass pokemon loves it here! ( CHLOREON: Reirriep!) Pokemon Center: NPC 6: I ate a whole bunch of berries before someone told me they were for pokemon. Now I don’t feel so good... NPC 7: It’s good to see there’s still some places where people care about the environment. Market: NPC 8: This is the Berry Stand. We sell all kinds of exotic berries for your pokemon. NPC 9: I sell hold items. These will boost your pokemons’ abilities in battle. NPC 10: Whew, I’m beat. I carted in all this stuff from Frost Town! NPC 11: I sell fabulous sculptures! My prices might be a bit too high, I haven’t sold any... NPC 12: Excuse me, can I get you to do me a favor? My daugther Trovelle wishes to see her mother in Portwind City, but I can’t leave my stand, or I’ll lose buisness! You look like a strong trainer, can I get you to escort her there? (This might be hard to implement, maybe it could be like in GSC where you take the spearow to the guys friend. You could get a link cable or something upon finishing.) NPC 13: Look at all the stands! I don’t know where to start. NPC 14: The reputation of this market is attracting more people from outside the town. Houses: NPC 16: Before the market started, I was the only one living here! It’s nice to have some company, but sometimes I miss the old days... NPC 17: This area is much different than the rocky reigons surrounding it. It makes for a healthy ecosystem! NPC 18: We moved here 6 years ago. I was scared to rase our kids in Collosus City. NPC 19: Our family rarely leaves the town. We have nearly everything we need here. NPC 20: I’m gonna go play outside! NPC 21: Wait for me! NPC 22: Feel free to pick the berries here, there for everyone. Just make sure you plant one in return! Meh, these are okay, some more pokemon would be nice. I didn’t think we would really need a Pokemart because of the market, not every town has to have one. On a side note, are we going to recycle some lines or start from scratch for the Johto cites?
) 17643, 'Probably scratch the Johto cities. Especially the gyms, where you won’t get badges but rather gift Pokemon (I think there’s Blitzfaust and Vilephist for that)
) 17644, 'NPC 23: My mom just taught me our family recipe for an incredible berry smoothie! Now she wants me to make one myself, retrieving the ingredients and all. Let’s see, I need 3 Pecha Berries, 1 Oran Berry, 2 Razz Berries, and....hmm.... NPC 24:Hello, there! I’m the only person at the stall right now because my daughter is out gathering ingredients, but since we’ve got plenty stored up, might I interest you in some Berry Smoothies? (1 for 300p, 5 for 1500p, or 10 for 3000p are the options) NPC 25: The woman running that stall over there has a gift with mixing berry drinks. Everyone agrees that she makes the best smoothies in Laysan! NPC 26: ~And the green grass grows all around, all around, and the green grass grows all around~....~whee!~....I love this town! Nothing but pretty green grass and berry bushes as far as the eye can see! Just a few ideas for Laysan, could probably throw a few more in with a little inspiration....
) 17647, 'Laysan Town is indeed a good place to place the Berry Smoothies. Just a heads up that we might not be using absolutely all of these, it depends on the maps Fangking makes but I’ll definitely use these to give him a couple of pointers on what we could have in each map.
) 17653, 'Not a problem. If a quarter of these get used it is still worth it.
) 17674, 'Today’s lines are for Aquapolis City, I was thinking high teens or low 20s since the map says it’s not very popular. I imagined it to have many strong pokemon around since it’s the last city before the pokemon league: NPC 1: Not many people come here due to our remoteness. Good effort! NPC 2: Isn’t this place cool? It’s inside a dome! NPC 3: The only folks who come through here are trainers on the way to Pokemon League. NPC 4: I was born here! I wonder what’s outside the dome? NPC 5: Many people living here have never left the city. I’m one of the few people with a pokemon that can Dive. (AROWANA: Gyaarrah!) NPC 6: The man in that house like to trade rare items with visiting trainers. NPC 7: The guy in that house traded me a fire stone! I evolved my precious pokemon with it! (NINETALES: Kwiioon!) NPC 8: You can call me the Deep Sea Treasure Hunter! Got any rare items such as colored shards? If you trade them to me, I can give you some good stuff! What do you say? Houses: NPC 9: I came here 6 years ago with my prized pokemon, ready to challenge the pokemon league. But I fell in love with this place, so I never left! (Scizor: Shrreezzer!, Drakodo: Grooogo!, Dusclops: siiithhhhh!) NPC 10: We’ve lived here all our lives! Everything we need can be found in this city, so there’s no need to ever leave! NPC 11: A change of scenery would be nice... NPC 12: I want to leave the city, but I don’t have any pokemon, so I can’t Dive out! NPC 13: We are thinking of building a submarine so we can exit and re-enter as we please. Pokemon Center: NPC 14: My pokemon and I are stopping here for a few days to rest up before victory road. (Backurge: Wooglaorgg!) Pokemart: NPC 15: I wonder how this Pokemart restocks when they run out of items? NPC 16: I hope they have this month’s issue of Caldera/Kirant Monthy! House: NPC 17: I read about an interesting pokemon in the newest issue of Caldera/Kirant monthy. It’s called GRUMPIG! I’d like to get one, but they only live far away, so I wouldn’t be able to! If you have one, would you like to trade it for my RELICANTH? NPC 18: My husband gets all worked up about pokemon he reads about! All right, hopefully these are decent.
) 17675, 'Well you know how in the games there’s always two kids holding the system in which you playing on trading Pokemon with each other? How about we have a kid playing Acanthite on a computer? That seems like a nice promo for Fangking for helping out so much. Computer Kid: I just downloaded Pokemon Acanthite! Their Team did such an amazing job, I wish these Pokemon were real!
) 17680, 'Haha, that’s a great idea. And ragingprimeape, those are great. I’d like to see a few more battle-mechanics related ones if you happen to do earlier cities like Hollowlog and Mistvale.
) 17682, 'Thanks, i’ll probably do one of those places tommorow morning or this evening if I get time.
) 17703, 'We decided to do Roothaven City for the next one, I’ll shoot for around 25. NPC 1: Isn’t this place cool? The whole city is built around a giant tree? NPC 2: Hopefully the tree never falls over... NPC 3: (before tunnel) They’ve been working on a tunnel to get to Saharan City for a while now, but it’s still not finished yet! I wonder when they’ll be done? (After) They finally completed the shortcut tunnel! Western Caldera is so much more accessible now! NPC 4: I’m a city health inspector. The trees here make the air especially pure in this area. I wonder how my partner is doing in Collosus City... NPC 5: We’ve come here on a retreat. This is a good place to get away from it all. NPC 6: It’s great to be able to appreciate nature in a place like this. NPC 7: The Great Tree has been standing guard over the forest for milleniums. It’s said to be the oldest living thing there is. NPC 8: I got in a double battle recently, but I only had one pokemon with me. We got creamed... (Jalsida: Chiiirip!) NPC 9: Some of the resedents have really strong connections with their pokemon. The gym leader Fernando is said to have an almost psychic bond with his team. NPC 10: Roothaven and Hollowlog are said to be two of the healthyist cities to live in! It’s because we’ve embraced nature instead of pushing it away. NPC 11: My pokemon and I have been living here together for 34 years now. We’re just out doing our daily stroll around the city. (Plantern: Greeeoo!) NPC 12: The branches of the tree take most of the heat from the air, so the temperature is never over 80 degrees, even in the summer. NPC 13: Isn’t the forest wonderful? I love gazing at the beauty of nature... Pokemon Center: NPC 14: I challenged Fernando, but my pokemon and I didn’t have a strong enough bond. He ended up wiping the floor with us... (Tundrolf: Arooow!) NPC 15: I think i’m allergic to some of the plants around here... Achoo! Pokemart: NPC 16: Secondary status conditions are rarer than normal ones, but they are no joke either. They don’t make specific cures for each, but a full heal will do the trick just fine. NPC 17: I need to pick up some more paralyze heal! Houses: NPC 18: This house is made of all natural materials. It’s nice to know we’re not harming the environment. NPC 19: There’s no insulation in here, so the nights are freezing! NPC 20: Have you faced Fernando yet, child? He’s my son. You’d best be prepared for a tough fight, child. NPC 21: Our son’s skill with pokemon has brought more trainers into this city! He brings pride to our family! SIGN: Haventree tunnel is still under construction. Detour through Kirant to reach Saharan City. SIGN: Herb Shop: The natural cure for you! Herb Shop: NPC 22: Herbal cures are inexpensive, but your pokemon will not like them much. NPC 23: Welcome. We have many varieties of herbs for sale here. Alright, I hope these are okay.

) 17704, 'The Herb Shop is likely going to be in Icthyes City, as Herbs = Pokemon dislike you and the Rocket Base is disguised as a the Herb Shop. Here’s a bit more background: The citizens of Roothaven sustain themselves on the Great Tree’s berries and clean water pools formed by its roots. Because of this wholesome food, the citizens rarely ever get sick. Fernando’s family tree has roots in Roothaven as far back as the first tribe who took refuge in the area. Fernando lives almost as a monk: his clothes are a simple leaf skirt and crown, and his spends almost all his training his Pokémon to near-exhaustion. His almost psychic connection to Grass-typed Pokémon, which he commands to incapacitate his opponents with status ailments followed by strong physical Cherry Bombs. Roothaven Labyrinth is one of the two large centrepiece buildings in Roothaven, the other being Fernando’s gym. Here there are events held by the Mazemaster. The events are wildly popular with Roothaven residents, and some of them participate over and over again, challenging other trainers along the way. Also on OI there’s a sidequest in Roothave where there’s a Poison saboteur who’s been poisoning the food and water, and causing everyone to get sick. We could probably integrate that into the game itself.
) 17712, 'Okay, well scratch those then, I’ll redo the herb shop when I do Icthyes. NPC 22: The residents of the city take protect the great tree from harm, and in return, we eat the fruit that grows on it. It’s a relationship that has been working for many years. NPC 23: Ever since I moved here, I’ve never been sick, and I’ve grown 2 inches taller! There must be something in the water! SIGN: Roothaven Labyrinth: Enter the never-ending maze! NPC 24: Everyone comes here to partake in the maze challenges! It’s a fun pastime fo rthe villagers. NPC 25: I wonder who the Mazemaster is? I’ve heard it’s someone who lives in the city. NPC 26: The Mazemaster puts on events periodically. You never know when the next one will be! Is this going to be like a battle frontier place or something?
) 17713, 'That was the original plan but I think we’ll be reworking it into something more like the Trick House in RSE.
) 17718, 'What place should I do next? It dosen’t matter to me.
) 17719, 'What about Mistvale? All of the World of Topaz material is up for it already, and there’s a map, but Fangking says he’s remaking that because of the Battle Frontier stuff that he doesn’t necessarily want to reuse. (We might be getting some new tilesets) The Fighting Dojo is a place attended weekly by nearly every resident of Mistvale City. Here, residents train themselves in self defense, and train their Fighting-type Pokémon together. There are three people, however, who attend pretty much daily! They’ve been itching for a traveling trainer to pass by so they can test their skills! A palace rich with history and legend, the Su Chi Mu Palace was once home to the rulers of Mistvale City. Now abandoned, it’s sole inhabitant is a young lady responsible for the maintenance of the palace as part of Mistvale City’s heritage. Rumours everywhere fly about that you can hear crying from the palace at night. Note that the Su Chi Mu Palace is the Mt. Frost Secret Room sidequest... and I haven’t figured out exactly what’s going to happen for that yet. I actually need some ideas so if you think you can help out... well, you’ll see in the next SoT.
) 17725, 'Mistvale it is: SIGN: Mistvale City: Land of rich heritages. NPC 1: This city is home to the original ninja clans. There records date back nearly 600 years! NPC 2: There are many odd legends associated with this area. The heritage of the poisonous ninjas sure is fascinating! (Koffing: googan!) NPC 3: Every resident visits the fighting dojo, even the elderly and very young. The people here are very disciplined. NPC 4: From a very young age, I was taught martial arts at the fighting dojo. Self-defense is a pillar of our society. NPC 5: My husband and I have been studying Jiu Jitsu for 20 years. We’re confident in our abilities. NPC 6: Everyone here either trains fighting or poison type pokemon. I got kicked out of the house because I want to train flying types... (Grific: Krreww!) SIGN: Su Chi Mu Palace: A portal to the ancient world. NPC 7: Hi! your the first person who has been here in a while! I am the caretaker of the palace. This was where the ninja masters of Mistvale lived in the ancient past. It is said that the rulers had a great secret, but no one has ever figured it out. Feel free to look around! (My idea was that there would be a large symbol in the back of the palace with pieces missing from it. You would have to find the pieces hidden in various areas of the game. When you brought them all back and completed the symbol, a ghost would appear, which could explain the crying, and it would either talk to you, or their could be a battle against the dead ninja master’s pokemon. Upon defeat, it would grant you the secret to Mount Frost.) NPC 8: I’ve heard wierd sounds coming from the palace during the night. It sounds like crying, but the palace is locked up tight at night... NPC 9: Going to challenge Hanzo? Be careful, he may be old, but his power is real! NPC 10: There are some guys at the fighting dojo looking for a challenging fight. If you’ve got the time, you should head over there. SIGN: Fighting Dojo NPC 11: Yay! It’s almost time for Tai Kwon Do class! NPC 12: Look at the three guys over there. They look pretty tough! NPC 13: Are you here for lessons? Oh wait, sorry, but you must be a resident of Mistvale to partake. Houses: NPC 14: Our Gym Leader Hanzo’s skills are amazing! Koga and Janine, a legendary father and daughter pairing of ninjas trained under his teachings. NPC 15: The food we cook here is culturally based. Oops, the miso soup is boiling! NPC 16: Not miso soup again... I want a pizza... NPC 17: Our city has the most well-behaved children. It’s due to the fact that we discipline them at an early age and give them chores so they learn responsibility. NPC 18: Almost done sweeping, ma! NPC 19: I hear there’s trouble up at Mt. Mist. Apparently Team Rocket has disturbed the Whismur. (After: Everything’s fine up at Mt. Mist now!) NPC 20: If you think poison is back, try getting badly poisoned! The damage you take increases as the battle goes along! On a side note, I will be out of town until late Sunday night, so I wont be able to post for those couple of days, but I’ll be back!
) 17726, 'Looking good, but my idea for the Su Chi Mu Palace was this: As you approach the young lady, she explains why she cries: There is a legend that still clings to this palace like the fog that clings to Mistvale City. The last princess of the Su Chi Mu Palace was a beautiful girl, who was fully of energy and adventurous. One day, a strong knight came and stole her heart, and she fell so deeply in love with the knight that they decided to run away. They journeyed all over Caldera and Kirant, the knight protecting the princess from all aggressors that dared cross their path. A while after, the princess, feeling tired, decided that she wanted to settle down in a small town and lead a simple farming life, raising children. The knight complied, but soon his restless spirit made him long again for the journeying life. The princess refused, as she was pregnant and did not want to have the baby while travelling. Every week the knight became more restless, and soon he turned to drinking and became abusive. When the princess died during childbirth, the knight went insane and slaughtered everyone in the village. He then commit suicide, leaving the baby to fend for himself. The young lady, sobbing, continues: The story is so sad, I can’t help but cry every time I think of it! Every time I look at the walls of this great palace, I cannot help but think of this legend and cry. But I need this job, so I won’t quit. Please help me find some consolation: find what happened to the baby, what he has become. The thing is that it’s perhaps a bit too mature-content?
) 17727, 'Yeah, It’s a good story, but you might want to change the wording a little. It will make it more friendly to younger gamers.
) 17728, 'I tried to make it a bit better. ...The princess refused, as she was pregnant and did not want to have the baby while travelling. The kight became restless. When the princess died during childbirth, the knight’s heart was broken. The doors to the castle were closed and when people finally went to see what was wrong, everyone had dissapeared*. Only the princess’s child remained. *can be switched for had died or even had been murdered if we really need to have death as an element in the story.
) 17730, 'This sounds like a cool sidequest to me.
) 17732, 'It wouldn’t be a castle... because the princess and the knight had long since left the castle and wouldn’t be able to return considering how abruptly they left the royal family. Quote A while after, the princess, feeling tired, decided that she wanted to settle down in a small town and lead a simple farming life, raising children. </td> </tr> </table></div>Disappeared could work, though I have a feeling that there is a better euphemism.
) 17763, 'I got back a bit earlier than we expected, so I guess Hollowlog is the next logical progression, since the OI stuff is probably up for it.

) 17765, 'There’s a lot of stuff for Hollowlog, I don’t even think I’ve done all of it in OI: Once the famed Battle Pike of the Caldera/Kirant League, since the Battle Frontier was closed due to budget restraints, Hollowlog City has turned this building into an aquarium with fishing contests. Since then, Hollowlog City has received even more tourism than it had when it was the simple Battle Pike. ... of course Fangking Omega decided afterwards that he thought using Battle Frontier buildings for other purposes was decidedly unprofessional, so it won’t be the Battle Pike. It’ll probably just be some kind of pier. ... Then I realized that I’ve written a lot of stuff about Eastlog and Westlog on OI, but not much about Hollowlog proper. I’m going to write the World of Topaz article tomorrow or sometime soon. Maybe then I can give you some more info. Sorry!
) 17770, 'Not a big deal. School starts tomorrow though, so is there another place I could do before my time to get on goes down a lot? (I’ll still come on pretty much every day though.)
) 17772, 'I don’t think any of the early cities have enough in-house dialogue.
) 17774, 'It dosen’t look like sunset village has been done yet so; SIGN: Sunset Village: A weary adventurer’s respite NPC 1: Sunset Village is a great place to retire. There’s not too much going on. NPC 2: This pokemart has sales every so often. They sell some different pokeballs here. Pokemart: NPC 3: Escape ropes will return you to the entrance of a cave. Use them if you get in over your head, dear. Houses: NPC 4 (RSE Mom): Just starting your adventure with pokemon? Our son was just like you when he was your age... NPC 5 (Norman): My wife and I used to live in Johto, and then we moved to Hoenn. Now, we’ve ended up here. NPC 6 (Blaine): My pokemon and I used to incinerate all challengers! Now, my grandson Froy has that job! (Ninetales: Kiwoon!) NPC 7 (FR/LG Mom): I’ve lived a long, happy life. It’s been wonderful watching our son grow up and start his own family. NPC 8 (FR/LG Dad): Our son was the greatest pokemon trainer alive, that is, until he settled down. NPC 9: My job is to assist the residents in their daily lives. It makes me feel good to care for these people. NPC 10: Many folks here were once great pokemon trainers! Time has taken its toll on them... Pokemon Center: NPC 11: I didn’t even know this place existed until a few days ago! I noticed it on a map, and I decided to check it out. Alright, I hope these help.
) 17776, 'Okay. I never really did know what Neon meant about the faces feeling familiar XD
) 17781, 'The map says that the parents from those two games live there, plus blaine looks fairly old even in those games, so I thought he could fit well.
) 18602, 'They give the surfer character a distinct personality, which is good for a trainer type like them.
) 18605, 'cool, glad you like them!
) 18705, 'More people at Orange Treecko Bar and Grill: Man at table for four: That was delicious, what’s for dessert honey? I got bored, began thinking about the resturant and thought of these lines.
) 18710, , 'lol, these look great to me! though, for the first man next to him, instead of only they would never leave this city, how about though they’ve never left this city?
) 18717, , 'Perhaps someone in the corner of the bar could be an old sailor who tells the story of the Sunken Ship Plot, and later, the Typhinda/Kipporok plot.
Talk Again: I had my map upside down the whole time!
) 18951, 'Fodder’s what I do best :F Thinking of some lines for gamblers- I don’t know where they’d fit in, outside of Icthyes or Colossus, depending on where the game corner is, but I guess they could be littered in diners or wherever.
) 18953, 'Got another line/easter egg: Some random person on a route: My EQUILL is strong, but it’s not very very good at dodging.
Well, I guess that’s a fan game for you.

) 19685, 'Could work.
Basically I need this in some kind of readable format (I got rid of 8 pages of code that was pervading the text), and sorted through into cities. Comments and other unnecessary stuff can be deleted, as well as anything repeated.

NPC 2: Not every pokemon is effected negatively by sandstorms. My pokemon actually benefits from it! (Cacnea: Grriigiittt!)
NPC 3: (Before gym battle): Arrrgh! I can’t belive it’s taking this long to build one stupid tunnel! (After gym battle): Haventree tunnel is finally done!

Pokemon Center: NPC 7: ...I just can’t hack it! The other gym leaders were tough, but I’ve challenged Osiro six times, and I just can’t win! It’s getting very discouraging... (Primeape: aaiiigrirr!)
NPC 8: Trainers who brave the eye of sand to get here just go to the gym and then leave!

Your power and resolve has given you the victory here today. In recognition of this, I bequeath to you the Sphinx Badge, the final emblem of the pokemon league! Also, I wish for you to go forth with my blessing in the form of this TM, normally reserved for the descendants of the royal family. With it, you can make the power of Fault Line your own! It causes massive damage to both battlers. (Talk Again): Your next step is to go far to the south toward your ultimate goal: The Pokemon League. I wish you luck on the remainder of your quest!

A lady is flailing in the water, screaming her lungs out. It looks like a KRAKLAW attack.
It is a documentary showing the burning of the PINEDALE FOREST

    Icthyes:

I know a good way you can help us. We were in the process of making pokedex entries for pokemon that are from other games that will be in this game before the old forums got corrupted. Some of the returning pokes are Growlithe, Arcainine, Duskull, Dusclops, Spoink, Grumpig, Meowth, Persian, Vulpix and Ninetales. A good way to help us out until we get back on our feet would be to go on psypokes. com and search for some of these pokemon. It will have all of that pokemon's dex entries that were used in previous games. You can use those to come up with modified versions of them, or make your own. Since we can't post new threads right now, you can just write them down if you want. Of course, there are some rules to making them, but you will want to PM ImmunityBow about tose if you want to help us out.

Of course, if I get lazy in the middle of doing this like my brother did, you could always help me seperate this crap.

It's good to have you here by the way, I hope I didn't overwhelm you there.

EDIT: modify as in using the main idea of the entry but still keeping it origional enough, Like our Scizor entry. There have been older entries that talk about how scizor's claws can be mistaken for heads, like this:

Stadium 2: It swings it eye patterned pinscers up to scare its foes. this makes it look like it has three heads.

Topaz entry: The eye like markings on SCIZOR's claws give enemies the impression that it has three heads. Upon the sight of the snapping heads, most foes will flee rather than fight.

    Little Kid: But mommy...
'NPC 22: Hey. Yeah, I'm in Icthyes City. Where are you? ...Okay. Hey, I'll have to call you back. There's this trainer standing <i>waaaay</i> too close. ...Mmmhmm, bye. *click* I'll have you know, that was a very important conversation.

Outside: Waiter next to entrance: Every customer is impatient. Especially the rich ones. Those who are not customers go in anytime.
Rich Girl: What is taking so long! I'm richer than this resturant's manager!
Rich Boy: My girlfriend thinks she should get in first because her father is rich. Which is partially right.
Man: I'm on a quest to drink in every region! This is the first one!
Woman: My husband is such an idiot! All he ever thinks about is drinking! Oh well, at least he's paying for the food.

Inside: Waiter behind podium: Welcome to the Orange Treecko Bar and Grill. Would you like a table?
Man at booth: This wine is exquisite!
Woman at same booth: This cuisine is delicious!
Man at table for two: I'm supposed to meet my blind date here. Have you seen her?
After she leaves: Says same thing but adds: She left, oh dear. I'd better leave then. *sniff* *sniff*
Woman staring at same table: That's my blind date? Not in this lifetime. *leaves resturant*
Woman sitting at table with husband and kids: I love it here! I'm glad I live in this city.
Man next to woman: We had forternal twins. We're here for their birthday.
Young Girl across from Man: It's my birthday! I want cake! Young Boy next to girl: It's my birthday! I want cake!
Bus boy at empty two-wall booth: I don't know why I'm even cleaning this table. It's just going to become dirty again in two minutes.
Chef at fryer: We get our fish from the best provider! Who, you ask? Team Rocket of course.
Chef at stove: Little grunts want cake! I'll give them cake! Chocolate, to be exact, with vanilla icing and sprinkles!
Head Chef: Jeffrey, finish that order. Jessica, grill the fish now! Charles, thaw the meat. Hello. If you're looking for a job, there are no positions right now. Sorry. *coughnotreallycough*

    Cetacea:

NPC 1: Welcome to Cetacea town, young'in! Enjoy your visit!
NPC 2: Excuse me, big kid! Have you seen Ms. Xan? She said she would play with me today.
NPC 3: I've been traveling around for a long time, but boy is this place different. Most people keep their pokemon outside of pokeballs!
NPC 4: We believe that people and pokemon can live in perfect harmony without us capturing and enslaving them.
Pokemart: NPC 5: Our pokemart doesn't sell pokeballs of any sort. It's fine for us because we don't use them, but it annoys passing trainers.
NPC 6: I used my last pokeball on a clefairy. Now I'm gonna have to go back to Icthyes to get more... (Clefairy: Jinjaaiing!)
Calming Center: NPC 7: Now this if my kind of place!
Would you like me to teach one of your pokemon Dream Eater?
NPC 11: My husband dozes off every time we come here. It's really embarassing!
NPC 12: You socialize with other trainers in this area.
NPC 13: My Mogel is so cuddly! I'm sure glad I found him! (Mogel: Giigen!)
NPC 14: Say what you will, but know that my Engil is the cutest pokemon here! (Engil: Biigleeali)
NPC 15: No one wants to hang out with me and my Muk... I wonder why? (Muk: Shrooooggsh!)
NPC 16: Are you enjoying your stay? My name is Joyce, and I run this fine establishment. Make sure you tell others about us, so more people will realize that ours is the true vision for the world!
NPC 17: Would you like a soothe bell? It takes a little longer, but you can make your pokemon friendlier if you already have one here. It's free of charge, just for using the Calming Center!
NPC 18: The Orion defenders keep our town crime free. We never see hide nor hair of any Rockets!
NPC 19: Most of the children want to join the Orion Defenders when they grow up.
NPC 20: When I get big, I'm gonna be just like Issac!
NPC 21: Me and Donna play house every Saturday. It's fun, you should come play with us, okay?
NPC 22: The Orion Defenders Headquarters is built into the side of the cliff. They did that so they wouldn't hurt the local ecosystem. How considerate of them!
NPC 23: Arggh! I just can't work up the courage to go in. I want to be an Orion Defender, but I get nervous right before I go in!
NPC 24: Going to join the Defenders? There have been quite a few kids being recruited lately...
NPC 25: Don't tell anyone about this, but I've heard the Orion base has a secret entrance. Its just a rumor though...
NPC 26: My pokemon and I are tuckered out. Where's the pokemon center?
NPC 27: Way up north, there's shrine on a mountain that is supposed to hold a lot of secrets. Did you know? (y,n) y: It's good to see a child with some knowledge. n: I'm not suprised. Most people have never heard of it.
NPC 28: I'm an official from Dynamo Gardens. We want to build windmills here to generate energy for our cities.
NPC 29: I evolved my Eevee into an Espeon. I'm trading it for my friends' Chloreon!
NPC 30: Once my friend trades me his Espeon, I will have every Eevee evolution!
NPC 31: Is this Enchestra City? Oh no, I must have taken the wrong road and ended up here...
NPC 32: My husband has been seeing strange things recently, so I've kept him at home.
NPC 33: I saw it I tell you. A man came around here doing puppet shows, and I swear I saw him turn into a pokemon when no one was looking! You've got to believe me!

    Some trainers:

Male Surfer: Intro: I'll leave you washed up on the shore! Defeat: Oooh... caught me at low tide... After victory: Well, nothing to do now but polish my board off and keep going!

Intro: Hey dude/dudette, let's battle! Defeat: Bummer, wipeout... After Victory: I don't know why I start speaking like that... It must be the board, man.

Encounter: Waahoo! I just had an energy drink, and I am hyped up! Defeat: I don't feel so good anymore... Talk Again: Losing... energy...

Encounter: You've gotta keep hydrated if you want to stay alert! Defeat: I'm really thirsty now. Talk Again: Remember to drink 8 glasses of water a day!

Encounter: Mmm! This moomoo milk is just delicious! Defeat: It';s got lots of calcium too. Talk Again: I've heard there's a big farm in Johto where moomoo milk is made.

Surfers again: Intro: My board is the board that pierces the waves! Defeat: Who the heck do you think you are?! AV: I should've believed in my pokemon, who believe in me...

Female Surfers: Intro: Tossing out a pokeball while trying to balance on the board is hard! Defeat: Whoaaa!... *splash* AV: blub, blub... Maybe I should stick to sunbathing.. Intro: Admit it, you came over just to talk to me! Defeat: Jeez, no need to be so stubborn about it...

NPC 3 [inside house] Ugh! I can't stand this smell!

    NPC 5: Puff...puff...Glassblowing is fun! Puff...puff...
NPC 6: *cough cough* I got too close to a pile of charcoal...*cough cough*

Pokemon Mart in Cranewing: NPC 1: Gosh, everything is so expensive here.

[Y/N] [Y]Okay, here's the deal. Froy's got it cool when it comes to handling Fire Pokemon! If you're one of those nature loving Grass types, Froy's gonna burn you alive! Counter his fiery spirit with a good douse of water! [N]What? You don't want to become a Pokemon cham-peen?
Trainer 1: You think you've even got a chance against Froy? You gotta get through me first, and trust me, you got no fire compared to me!, [After Victory] Sheesh! Too hot to handle!,
Trainer 2: Froy's been my mentor for as long as I can remember. If I still can't beat him, then you have no chance of beating me! [After Victory] Oh, snap! Not bad, kid! Not bad!
Froy: An expertly blown piece of glass. Flawless. No matter how hard you look, you won't find a single imperfection. That is how I strive to live my life. My Pokemon recognize this, and have become expertly tuned to my feelings. Do you think you can break their fiery exterior? Let's get it on. [After Victory] Your skill...it can douse even the strongest of fires. Take this Glass Badge. You deserve it.

NPC 1: Hi there, welcome to Softwind City. You must be a pokemon trainer, correct? New trainers come through here all the time.
NPC 2: The large towers here signify the protectors of Softwind. This place sure has a long history!
NPC 3: Wow, this place is really something. But then again, this is my first trip outside of Sunset Village, so any new place would seem amazing to me!
NPC 4: Alright, I've been training for a long time, and it all come down to this! Therma is going down!

Sign: Softwind City Pokemon Gym: Leader: Therma, The (insert cool sounding nickname here, probably should do same for Froy, all I can think of right now is Airbourne Librarian)

Softwind Pokemon Center: NPC 1: I just got my seventh pokemon, but I dont know what happened to it... What? It's in the PC storage system?
NPC 2: My pokemon got paralyzed by an AMPURE. It couldn't attack as quickly, so I lost the battle. Paralysis is a tough condition to battle with!
NPC 3: I'm so glad pokemon centers are free. If they weren't, my pokemon would never get healed because I've got no money.
NPC 4: Clerk guy for pokemart.

More outside people: NPC 5: Ahhh! The air is so clean here! This place is much healthier than my home at Collossus City.
NPC 6: Have you ever considered giving your pokemon nicknames? It lets you personalize your parteners. I've heard somewhere that there is a man who will rate the nicknames of your pokemon and let you change them.
NPC 7: Therma is a good person. She teaches the young children of our city how to read and write. If there were more people like her, this world would be a better place.
NPC 8: The weather here is quite mild compared to other areas of this reigon. There are some tall mountains west of here where the weather is quite harsh!
NPC 9: The three towers here...

NPC 2: You can exchange your coins for wonderful prizes next door!
NPC 3: Wow, this place really has no moral standards. They let small children gamble in here...
NPC 4: Hehehehe! I'm really rakin' it in today!
NPC 5: Maybe i'll just take a few spins on my lunch break...
NPC 6: I'd like to gamble, but I lost my coin case somewhere.

NPC 4: Her father owns lots of the trade ships here.
NPC 5: I'm only friends with her for her money.

    SIGN: Gallea Shipyard
NPC 7: We can ship cargo to Portwind, but it's not easy getting stuff to Icthyes.
NPC 8: Hmm. We'll have to put a bigger rudder on this one.
NPC 9: But boss, the new rudders don't come in 'til next week!
NPC 10: This place is actually pretty close to the Pokemon League! But knowing that is pointless unless you've got eight badges!
NPC 11: The fishing industry here is underrated. Icthyes City steals our thunder when it comes to that.
NPC 12 (pokemon trade idea): Hey there! I've been looking everywhere for a SERAPH, but I just can't find one! Will you trade one for my PHANTASOMO? {y,n} y: Thanks, let's get this trade started! n: Oh well, I guess i'll keep looking...

NPC 14: Pokemon won't obey you if you don't have enough badges. Just look at that idiot over there...
NPC 15: There sure are a lot of people here. This place is almost as popular as Collosus!
NPC 16: Although this place is industry driven, We've still maintained a nice atmosphere.
NPC 17: Everyone in this city only cares about how much better it is than other places! All I hear is bragging about how much nicer it is here! Portwind is way better!

In Pokecenter: NPC 18: One day, i'm going to be a famous explorer! I'll conquer the uncharted territory of chartree forest! ...You've already been there?!

It dosen't restore PP though!

More outside people: NPC 23: I think i'll take a trip to Laysan town and get some berries.
NPC 24: We need to load 20 more boxes of cargo on this ship! Move it, boys, what am I payin' ya for!
NPC 25: -grunt- This is hard work!
NPC 26: We're you're sons, you don't pay us at all!
NPC 27: How long have you been on your journey? Adventuring is nice, but your mother is probably worried about you. You should visit your home from time to time.
NPC 28: Mmm... I wonder what mom's making for dinner tonight?
NPC 29: I think i'll take a stroll down the beach today.
NPC 30: 1,2,3,4, RAWK! Oh, what? Sorry, I was listening to my headphones too loudly.
NPC 31: I wish there was a department store here. It would be easier to get my shopping done.
NPC 32: I'm saving up to go on a trip to Johto. I hear Jasmine is pretty...
NPC 33: I'm always down here picking up trash off the beach. Keep our city clean!
NPC 34: You have to go through a tunnel to reach Sedcini City.
NPC 35: I'm working here so I can marry my love in Portwind City. Ohh Brad, one day we'll be together...

    Portwind:

SIGN: Portwind City: Gateway to the southern sea.
NPC 1: Hi, welcome to Portwind City! ...don't know why you'd come here though...
NPC 2: There's nothing for us kids to do aroung here!
NPC 3: I wish I lived in Enchestra City instead.
NPC 4: I actually like this place. It has a small town feel.
NPC 5: The only jobs aroung here are for the Portwind Shipping Company.
SIGN: Portwind Shipping CO. HQ: Bringing the goods of the world to you!

NPC 8: We recieve cargo from Gallea, Icthyes, and even Vermillion City in Kanto.
NPC 9: I'm working on a way to make our ships have more storage capacity.
NPC 10: Hiya! I'm the president of the company! This place was barley even a town when I started this company here! Now it's making progress. One day, Portwind city could be the envy of this whole region!
NPC 11: Alright, we've got to unload this cargo into the loading bay!
NPC 12: These boxes are heavier than they were when we loaded them...
NPC 13: This is tough work, but the pay is better than you'd think. Someday, I'll be able to finally marry my sweet Sarah...

Pokecenter: NPC 14: I need to get a town map so I won't get lost on my way to Enchestra City.
NPC 15: My friend here is a total dweeb! All you do is turn left after like five minutes of walking and you can see the city!

Pokemart: NPC 16: Full Heal will cure any status problem, but they are more expensive. You get what you pay for, I guess...

Intro: Hey, are those surfer chicks over there? Defeat: Gah! I let them distract me from the battle... AV: Man, in a battle you gotta stay real...Hey are those Surfer Chicks over there?

More people at Orange Treecko Bar and Grill:

Man at table for four: That was delicious, what's for dessert honey?
Woman next to Man: On Cellphone: Yes, the merger will go through, what in the world could go wrong? Off Cellphone: Honey, we're getting the most expensive dessert here, with my pay I have money to burn.
Teenage Girl across from Man: On Cellphone: So like, he said that.... oh, hold on. Off Cellphone: What do you want, can't you see I'm on the phone. Back on Cellphone: So like I was saying.....
At the Bar: Man: Ahhhhh.... they have the best drinks here.

Woman next to him: Ahhhhh.... Get me another Bartender, by the way, you look really handsome.
Bartender: This is why I don't like when women get drinks here, they always hit on me.
Old Woman Next to Bartender: I'm his mother. I still can't believe he doesn't take these women seriously, date one and move out finally!

    Sunken Ship/ Typhinda-Kipporok old man

Man near bar: That old guy over there will tell you some crazy stories about pirates if you're willing to listen. That's what happens when you see the world through the bottom end of a whiskey bottle...

Old Salt: Hey there sonny! If'n you've got the time, I can spin you a tale of courage and dispair on the high seas! {y,n} n: You'll be back, kid! y: It goes like this... There was a dastardly pirate long ago named Captain Barnacle. He and his pirate crew terrorized the high seas for many years, and they stole much loot from anyone they could find. But the good captain was a brash and arrogant man, and one day he stopped praying to the lord of the oceans, beliving that he didn't need it's protection. When he and his crew were out trying to capture the valuable Goldrake, one of the ocean lord's powerful minions appeared and sank Captain Barnacle's boat. They say the same beast still guards the haunted sunken ship, where Barnacle and his now ghostly crew are surrounded by Goldrake that they can't capture! Well, that's it lad. Don't go runnin' off to the ship just because of what I told ye here though!

After visiting Sunken Ship: Ah, if it isn't the laddie that I told that old story to. Of course you went to the ship after hearin' me tale. Everyone I tell it to does, but most never come back!

After visiting Sunken Ship and Starlight Cave: Welcome back laddie! I can tell you the rest of the tale If'n you've got the time. {y,n} n: Come on lad, it be a real yarn! y: It goes like this... After the lord of the oceans' minion sank Barnacle's ship, it angered the pokemon in charge of calming it down. This pokemon was called Kipporok, and it was much less prone to outbursts of anger. It was appalled by the destruction of the good captains' ship, and so it used it's power to seal the exit to the ocean lord's domain, so that it could not escape and cause more havoc, nor send any more minons to do his bidding for him. However, the ocean lord grew even more angry, and it's fury could not be contained for long. As we speak, there is a massive whirlpool raging near Aquapolis city. I wonder what's happenin'there?

After fighting Typhinda: Hey there again, Laddie! I'm afraid I've got no more stories for ya. You should go and find some of your own to tell when your my age!

NPC 10: I tasted a protein vitamin, and I gotta tell ya, those things are horrible!
NPC 11: I'm tired out from all this shopping!
NPC 12: Are they having a sale today?
NPC 13: What kind of a department store is this if you can't buy clothes?

Outside: NPC 14 (some guy in an alley): Psst! Hey, kid! I sell rare items that you won't find anywhere else. They're expensive, but with them you might avoid paying a much higher price in battle! ( This guy could sell hold items like king's rock or one of each element stone, I though he'd be good for the image of the city)
NPC 15: I'm here on a buisness meeting from Portwind City as a representative for the Portwind Shipping Company. I hope Portwind never ends up like this horrible place...
NPC 16: What's that guy doing in that alley? He looks shady...
NPC 17: I'm the police chief of this town. The city government won't provide us with enough funding to do our jobs! We can't keep the streets clean with just two of us!
NPC 18: I'm Deputy Jeff, and I'm the law around here! BZZT! Oops, I tazed myself!
NPC 19 (Guy in jail): I can't believe I got caught by these losers...
NPC 20: This place isn't as bad as everyone says it is. Besides the fact that I have to have my CRAGOYLE out to deter muggers on my way to work, this place is probably like any other big city! (CRAGOYLE: wahwaoor!)
NPC 21: The air here is really polluted...
NPC 22: Ugh, this place is so unclean. Koffing and Grimer have been spawning everywhere. Maybe I'll take a trip to Cetacea Town for some fresh air...
    NPC 23: So...*cough*...much...*cough*...pollution...can't. ..*cough cough* breathe...*cough cough cough*...I hate...this *cough* stupid...*cough*...city...
NPC 26: Hey, I'm Sal Gore, and I've been living here for a few years, trying to teach the people of Colossus about the dangers of global warming. Obviously, it's not working....you don't waste energy, do you? I mean, just think of the poor POLARA!
NPC 27: Me, I love plants with a passion. In fact, I've been trying to start up a garden on the roof of my apartment building ever since I moved here, but the plants keep dying....am I doing something wrong?

    More Game Corner:

NPC 10: Don't believe what those responsible people tell you! Gambling is GOOD for you!

NPC ??? (old guy/trade request): A while back, the countryside was flooded with cute little EMBEAR, but now there are hardly any....I miss the good old days. Say, if you had an EMBEAR, might you be willing to trade it to me? I'd trade you my trusty CACNEA for it. (if Yes: ) Why, thank you! You're a good person! I feel the nostalgia flowing through me already.... (if No: ) You can't find one, either? My, my, what is this world coming to....

First Encounter: Hi there! I work at the Pokemart in Sunset Village. A Pokemart has all sorts of items to help you and your pokemon out. Sales have been slow recently, so I've been instructed to hand out free Potions to everyone I see. Here you go! Talk Again: Potions restore 20 HP to a Pokemon and can be used even in battle. They can bring back your Pokemon from the brink of death so make sure you stock up at the Pokemart! )

    Collosus:

SIGN: Collosus Apartments: Good living, Collosal rooms!

NPC 31: I love watching TV! They have some great programs on these days!
NPC 32: My husband is getting fatter every day...
    DOOR: Do Not Disturb.
NPC 33: What, what, is the rent due already? Look, I don't have it yet! Oh, the landlord didn't send you? That's a relief!

Pokemon Center: NPC 34: I'm just gonna deliver the package and get back to Dynamo Gardens straight away.
NPC 35: My pokemon is gasping for air! The pollution is affecting it strangely! (Cirroft: Cullooon...)

Outside: NPC 36: Hack! Cough! This city is cough... not a good place for someone with asthma...

People in factories: NPC 37: We're 100 short on production today!
NPC 43: I've been working hard all day! I need a break!
NPC 44: That guy is such a wuss! He takes a break every 20 minutes!
NPC 45: I'm the CEO of this company. I think I'm going to take a vacation in Enchestra next week! If you have any more questions, you can speak to my lawyer! Hmmph!
NPC 46: You know, no studies have been done to see if the pollution from this factory harms the envirionment. This company is free from any liability!
NPC 47: Whew, my shift's almost up!
NPC 48: My shift just started. I've got a full day ahead of me!
Some people in a house: NPC 49: The factory is up and running 24 hours a day. I can't get any shuteye!
NPC 50: I'm going to file a noise complaint, so help me!

NPC 2: This place is lively, but there's not that much to do except fish and go to the market.
NPC 3: Our town has a secret method for growing berries that has been passed down from generation to generation.
NPC 4: The only outside visitors we usually get are traders, and even then, it';s not that many people.
NPC 5: My grass pokemon loves it here! ( CHLOREON: Reirriep!)

Pokemon Center: NPC 6: I ate a whole bunch of berries before someone told me they were for pokemon. Now I don't feel so good...
NPC 7: It's good to see there's still some places where people care about the environment.

Market: NPC 8: This is the Berry Stand. We sell all kinds of exotic berries for your pokemon.
NPC 9: I sell hold items. These will boost your pokemons' abilities in battle.
NPC 10: Whew, I'm beat. I carted in all this stuff from Frost Town!
NPC 11: I sell fabulous sculptures! My prices might be a bit too high, since I haven't sold any...
NPC 12: Excuse me, can I get you to do me a favor? I need to get this pokemon to my wife in Portwind City, but I can't leave my stand, or I'll lose buisness! You look like a strong trainer, can I get you to bring it there? (This might be hard to implement, maybe it could be like in GSC where you take the spearow to the guys friend. You could get a link cable or something upon finishing.)
NPC 13: Look at all the stands! I don't know where to start.
NPC 14: The reputation of this market is attracting more people from outside the town.

Houses: NPC 16: Before the market started, I was the only one living here! It's nice to have some company, but sometimes I miss the old days...
NPC 20: I'm gonna go play outside!
    NPC 21: Wait for me!
NPC 22: Feel free to pick the berries here, there for everyone. Just make sure you plant one in return!
NPC 23: My mom just taught me our family recipe for an incredible berry smoothie! Now she wants me to make one myself, retrieving the ingredients and all. Let's see, I need 3 Pecha Berries, 1 Oran Berry, 2 Razz Berries, and....hmm....
NPC 24:Hello, there! I'm the only person at the stall right now because my daughter is out gathering ingredients, but since we've got plenty stored up, might I interest you in some Berry Smoothies? (1 for 300p, 5 for 1500p, or 10 for 3000p are the options)
NPC 25: The woman running that stall over there has a gift with mixing berry drinks. Everyone agrees that she makes the best smoothies in Laysan!
NPC 26: ~And the green grass grows all around, all around, and the green grass grows all around~....~whee!~....I love this town! Nothing but pretty green grass and berry bushes as far as the eye can see!

    Aquapolis:

NPC 1: Not many people come here due to our remoteness. Good effort!
NPC 2: Isn't this place cool? It's inside a dome!
NPC 3: The only folks who come through here are trainers on the way to Pokemon League.
NPC 4: I was born here! I wonder what's outside the dome?
NPC 5: Many people living here have never left the city. I'm one of the few people with a pokemon that can Dive. (AROWANA: Gyaarrah!)
NPC 6: The man in that house likes to trade rare items with visiting trainers.
NPC 7: The guy in that house traded me a fire stone! I evolved my precious pokemon with it! (NINETALES: Kwiioon!)
NPC 8: You can call me the Deep Sea Treasure Hunter! Got any rare items such as colored shards? If you trade them to me, I can give you some good stuff! What do you say?

Houses: NPC 9: I came here 6 years ago with my prized pokemon, ready to challenge the pokemon league. But I fell in love with this place, so I never left! (Scizor: Shrreezzer!, Drakodo: Grooogo!, Dusclops: siiithhhhh!)
NPC 10: We've lived here all our lives! Everything we need can be found in this city, so there's no need to ever leave!
NPC 11: A change of scenery would be nice...
NPC 12: I want to leave the city, but I don't have any pokemon, so I can't Dive out!
NPC 13: We are thinking of building a submarine so we can exit and re-enter as we please.

Pokemon Center: NPC 14: My pokemon and I are stopping here for a few days to rest up before victory road. (Bakurge: Wooglaorgg!)
Pokemart: NPC 15: I wonder how this Pokemart restocks when they run out of items?
NPC 16: I hope they have this month's issue of Caldera/Kirant Monthy!

House: NPC 17: I read about an interesting pokemon in the newest issue of Caldera/Kirant monthy. It's called GRUMPIG! I'd like to get one, but they only live far away, so I wouldn't be able to! If you have one, would you like to trade it for my RELICANTH?
NPC 18: My husband gets all worked up about pokemon he reads about!

    Easter Egg:

Computer Kid: I just downloaded Pokemon Acanthite! Their Team did such an amazing job, I wish these Pokemon were real!

    Roothaven:

NPC 1: Isn't this place cool? The whole city is built around a giant tree!
NPC 2: Hopefully the tree never falls over...
NPC 3: (before tunnel) They've been working on a tunnel to get to Saharan City for a while now, but it's still not finished yet! I wonder when they'll be done? (After) They finally completed the shortcut tunnel! Western Caldera is so much more accessible now! NPC 4: I'm a city health inspector. The trees here make the air especially pure in this area. I wonder how my partner is doing in Collosus City...
NPC 5: We've come here on a retreat. This is a good place to get away from it all.
NPC 6: It's great to be able to appreciate nature in a place like this.
NPC 7: The Great Tree has been standing guard over the forest for milleniums. It's said to be the oldest living thing there is.
NPC 8: I got in a double battle recently, but I only had one pokemon with me. We got creamed... (Jalsida: Chiiirip!)
NPC 9: Some of the resedents have really strong connections with their pokemon. The gym leader Fernando is said to have an almost psychic bond with his team.
NPC 10: Roothaven and Hollowlog are said to be two of the healthyist cities to live in! It's because we've embraced nature instead of pushing it away.
NPC 11: My pokemon and I have been living here together for 34 years now. We're just out doing our daily stroll around the city. (Plantern: Greeeoo!)
NPC 12: The branches of the tree take most of the heat from the air, so the temperature is never over 80 degrees, even in the summer.
NPC 13: Isn't the forest wonderful? I love gazing at the beauty of nature...

Pokemon Center: NPC 14: I challenged Fernando, but my pokemon and I didn't have a strong enough bond. He ended up wiping the floor with us... (Tundrolf: Arooow!)
NPC 15: I think i'm allergic to some of the plants around here... Achoo!

Pokemart: NPC 16: Secondary status conditions are rarer than normal ones, but they are no joke either. They don't make specific cures for each, but a full heal will do the trick just fine.
NPC 17: I need to pick up some more paralyze heal!

Houses: NPC 18: This house is made of all natural materials. It's nice to know we're not harming the environment.
NPC 19: There's no insulation in here, so the nights are freezing!
NPC 20: Have you faced Fernando yet, child? He';s my son. You'd best be prepared for a tough fight, child.
NPC 21: Our son's skill with pokemon has brought more trainers into this city! He brings pride to our family!
SIGN: Haventree tunnel is still under construction. Detour through Kirant to reach Saharan City.

NPC 1: This city is home to the original ninja clans. There records date back nearly 600 years!
NPC 2: There are many odd legends associated with this area. The heritage of the poisonous ninjas sure is fascinating! (Koffing: googan!)
NPC 3: Every resident visits the fighting dojo, even the elderly and very young. The people here are very disciplined.
NPC 4: From a very young age, I was taught martial arts at the fighting dojo. Self-defense is a pillar of our society.
NPC 5: My husband and I have been studying Jiu Jitsu for 20 years. We're confident in our abilities.
NPC 6: Everyone here either trains fighting or poison type pokemon. I got kicked out of the house because I want to train flying types... (Grific: Krreww!)
SIGN: Su Chi Mu Palace: A portal to the ancient world.
NPC 7: Hi! your the first person who has been here in a while! I am the caretaker of the palace. This was where the ninja masters of Mistvale lived in the ancient past. It is said that the rulers had a great secret, but no one has ever figured it out. Feel free to look around!
NPC 8: I've heard wierd sounds coming from the palace during the night. It sounds like crying, but the palace is locked up tight at night...
NPC 9: Going to challenge Hanzo? Be careful, he may be old, but his power is real!
NPC 10: There are some guys at the fighting dojo looking for a challenging fight. If you've got the time, you should head over there.
    SIGN: Fighting Dojo
NPC 11: Yay! It's almost time for Tai Kwon Do class!
NPC 12: Look at the three guys over there. They look pretty tough!
NPC 13: Are you here for lessons? Oh wait, sorry, but you must be a resident of Mistvale to partake.

    Houses:

NPC 14: Our Gym Leader Hanzo's skills are amazing!
It's due to the fact that we discipline them at an early age and give them chores so they learn responsibility.
NPC 18: Almost done sweeping, ma!
NPC 19: I hear there's trouble up at Mt. Mist. Apparently Team Rocket has disturbed the Whismur. (After: Everything's fine up at Mt. Mist now!)
NPC 20: If you think poison is back, try getting badly poisoned! The damage you take increases as the battle goes along!

It's not out currently, though my guess is it will be realised in the coming months. It depends on how fast programming gets finished.

NPC 7 (FR/LG Mom): I've lived a long, happy life. It's been wonderful watching our son grow up and start his own family.

    Pokemon Center:

NPC 11: I didn't even know this place existed until a few days ago! I noticed it on a map, and I decided to check it out.

    At the Bar:
Man: Ahhhhh.... they have the best drinks here.
Man next to him: You know, you remind me of my son/daughter, only they would never leave this city.
Man next to him: *Hic* I think I had one *hic* too many *hic*
    Man next to him: Zzzzzzz...ZZzzzz...Zzzzzz...
Man next to him: Ha, Ha, Ha. The landlubber had one too many he did, now he's sleeping in his [insert name of dish here].
It goes like this... There was a dastardly pirate long ago named Captain Barnacle. He and his pirate crew terrorized the high seas for many years, and they stole much loot from anyone they could find. It goes like this... After the lord of the oceans' minion sank Barnacle's ship, it angered the pokemon in charge of calming it down. This pokemon was called Kipporok, and it was much less prone to outbursts of anger. It was appalled by the destruction of the good captain's ship, and so it used it's power to seal the exit to the ocean lord's domain, so that it could not escape and cause more havoc, nor send any more minons to do his bidding for him. However, the ocean lord grew even more angry, and it's fury could not be contained for long. As we speak, there is a massive whirlpool raging near Aquapolis city. I wonder what's happenin' there?

Hikers (Preferable to have this one just outside one of the larger cities)

Intro: Ah, good! I have my next bit of action planned out now! Defeat: This was a road too dangerous to traverse... After Battle: No city should be too large for a man to walk out of in a morning.
(This one possibly on an elevated pathway?) Intro: I'll take the high road and you take the low road... Defeat: I guess my way was the only option there ever was. After Battle: It's better exercise to walk along sloped ground.
Intro: I've just hit my stride! Come run your team by me! Defeat: Ooh, cramp, ow... After battle: I'm limping, but that's still walking!
Intro: Bwahaha! This crisp, fresh air makes me feel invincible! Defeat: *Cough, hack, wheeze*... After Battle: I think I'm allergic to something around here... *sniff*

Some guy around Portwind or Icthyes: Encounter: Hey, which way is Chartree Forest from here? Defeat: Oh no, that's not good. Talk Again: I had my map upside down the whole time!

Some random person on a route: My EQUILL is strong, but it's not very very good at dodging. C'mon EQUILL, do a barrel roll!

Person/Trainer [that breaks fourth wall near Colossus]: The creator of Pokemon envisioned eco-friendly cities and towns. Just look at this. If Trainer(After he loses): I lost because I was distracted by Colossus. If Trainer(Talk to him later): What an abandonment of traditional pokemon concepts. Well, I guess that's a fan game for you.

My eyes bled at the inital wall of text.

So how many more lines do we need, exactly? As in, to what city have we made it NPC-wise?

We didn't really go in order, but there are some that still need lines. XTS claimed Frost Town's a while ago, but Sedcini and Saharan still need quite a few. I think Dynamo Gardens as well, and I'm not sure about the Johto cities. There's always room for more people in cities that already have a lot as well.

There isn't really a set number. We just go till the admins say we have enough. If you want to post some, there's a thread for it.
