    And who is Cheryl?

She has a obviously mixed sprite, but it would be nice to know who she is and if I just missed a huge part of the storyline...

There are a ton of evolution methods and I really don't want to fish them all up and list them all and get corrected when I miss a bunch. If you're curious about a specific line then just check or ask whatever you lines you need.

Cheryl was supposed to be Bradley if you were a guy, and Bradley was supposed to be if you were girl. For character development reasons this doesn't work, though we may use the sprite for something else.

Sure. When I get a reasonable amount of time all at once then I'll make one.

So i found this site/forum by looking at Fakedex and I LOVE these pokemons so I was wondering if I could use the sprites in signatures/trainer cards. I would obviously give credit to pokemon topaz

A random question: where did the names for the two parts of the region come from?

And on a more serious note, what opportunities are there to level between Froy and Therma? I'm a little worried, with there being no new routes in between the two and a 6 level difference between their signature mons.

I know a caldera is a volcano crater that is larger than 1km in diameter. I tried searching kirant, but got nothing.

Unfortunately it's looking like people will need to grind a little. The possibility of early Mareep and Ampure helps though.

Caldera/Kirant's naming is before my time. I actually have no idea why they're named that way.

Have you started thinking about the puzzles in the gyms yet? I know you're still having trouble with the names, location, and teams, but most of them need to have some kind of puzzle, such as the invisible barriers in Fuchsia gym, the waterfall in the Cianwood gym (HG and SS only), and the warp tiles in Saffron gym. So what about these gyms? Is there a thread I can look at?

There was a little discussion, but we decided there was little point in doing it until the gym maps were actually being made.

Yes! You can subscribe to the thread! A the top of the page below the title to the right, there is a menu called "Thread Tools", and you can subscribe that way.

Well, if you want to know when someone posts to a thread (although not necessarily in response to you), go to the thread that you want to subscribe to. Just above the first post, there will be a bar. One of the options will be "Thread Tools". Click on it, then choose "Subscribe to this Thread". In the first drop-down menu, choose instant, daily, or weekly notification by email. (Instant will give you an email after every post, daily will give you an email once a day, and weekly will warn you once a week. Then just click "Add Subscription". Done!

EDIT: I need to learn to type faster.

I've noticed there are ranks such as Contributor, and VIP/Senior Member, and I'm at Junior Member. How do I get to the other ranks (or whatever you want to call them)?

For contributor, you have to make stuff, for VIP you need to post alot (no actuall skill required ), Senior member is a post count thing (I think), and admins are basically impossible to become at this point (unless IB retires).

So if I make one sprite, I become a contributor? Does posting a lot mean posting lots of replies or making lots of stuff?

Contributors need to be fairly consistant. Making several sprites, editing, also making/editing music, are all good.

Posting alot is just replies. Otherwise, I wouldn't be a VIP.

I have one! The subscription thing got me thinking, it would be pretty convinient if I could get an email at the end of the week containing ALL of the last week's posts. Is there an easy way to do that, or would I have to do them all thread-by-thread?

Contributer status is usually given out to those who have contributed something tangible to the project. So, if it is a sprite, it has to be officialized or at least given placeholder status. The same goes for anything else you make. It has to be good enough to go into the finished product. I'm not sure if doing just one will get you the status either. It's a subjective title with no requirements set in stone and some loyalty and time commitment should be made evident before it is bestowed. It's ultimately up to the admin team.

If you want to be a contributer, make some stuff, stick around and show some general interest in game development. Then, it will be possible to give you a more accurate answer about how much more (if anything) you will have to do to get the title.

If you contribute with comments and critiques ect. then you'll be aiming for VIP. If there are any benefits to being a Contributer, VIP has all the same. It's just fewer letters and a different colour.

    immunitybow@gmail.com is fine

I would suggest, however, that you upload them instead to imageshack.us and post up the link for everyone to see.

State of Topaz. Essentially it sums up what has been accomplished since the last one, encourages activity in those areas and it helps to redirect energy to the things that are needed the most at the present moment. It also gives an opportunity to give Guests and old members a brief overview of where we are. There is an archive of all the previous ones in the Announcements section, if you want to see for yourself.

I'm not too sure about Chiarame: It could be Kye-a-rah-may, which is reminiscent of Chimera, or Chee-a-rah-may, which is a little more intuitive.
Serberine is pronounced: Serb-er-rye-ne, which isn't too way off from how it looks.
    Vilephist is pronounced Vile-fist.
Neichia, I'm pretty sure is pronounced Neigh-chee-ah.

I wouldn't worry about this sort of this; you've been doing great already! However, to be honest, it seems like you're trying to get the contributor status just for the sake of having it.

Then again, you said you were just curious, so I dunno.
