VENOMOTH is unique among butterfly and moth type POKEMON in that it does not have a cocoon phase. It is likely that if VENOMOTH were to develop more slowly, it would be even more powerful.

Post ideas for Venomoth here.
More powerful than what? I like the first sentence but not the second. (Also Surskit/Mothim are another non-cocooned pair I think.) Also, I think the concept works a little better for Venonat, no?
VENONAT is unusual among butterfly and moth type POKEMON in that it does not have a cocoon phase. Instead, it buries holes in the ground, and emerges with its wings fully formed.
Or maybe it's just difficult to describe evolution since it applies to a line, rather than a single Pokemon.
The light colored dust on the wings of VENOMOTH can cause burning and rashes if it comes in contact with human skin. It does not standout against other moth and butterfly POKEMON due to it's dull, purple color.
I like it, but I think that the second mentioning of venomoth should be plural as it'd apply to all venomoth.

Sure. +1
BTG your reasoning doesn't work because Pokedex Entries are in the impersonal singular. Thus, the singular Venomoth is meant to stand for the entire species.
Example:
"Man does not live on bread alone."
"One" is the pronoun mainly used for third person impersonal, but we use "it," as per canon.
But I like the entry.
I guess I make the fifth voter for Reli's.
