I wonder if any of you have ever played any games in the Mario and Luigi series for the portables?
All three!
I have already finished all three yet I find the third to the most fun, seeing as I get to here a lot of Fawful's strange...... wording.
-has also beaten all 3, and seen Fawful in all of them-
Fawful is my favorite boss. I like 3 because you can play as Bowser, but the Mario and Luigi portion isn't as good as the other two.
Fawful has awesome metaphors. "Your strongest enemies will fold like napkins who are crying!"
I played Superstar Saga. I don't understand how every time Nintendo comes out with a Mario RPG, it's pure gold, with amazing innovation, humorous dialogue, and generally excellent plots and characterization.
Because it's an RPG?
Gino Whirl!
Fawful's quotes:
1:"Beef? I am lacking in beef. Fawful is beefless."
2:"Fawful... just... wanted some kingdom conquering..."
3:"I HAVE FURY!"
4:"Your lives that I spit on are now but a caricature of a cartoon drawn by a kid who is stupid!"
5:"You will wander forever in my modified Castle of Peach until you cry from lack of doors!"
6:"You have the impatience...You must stop and sample the sprinklies in life's salad bar."
7:"Oh, I am feeling the power! It high-fives Fawful's face!"
8:"Fawful will reserve the Crying Room for the crying for your minions. And the crying will be like a savory soda for my soul!"
9:Fawful scattered your minions like litter from a sad, ugly cat.
10:It is I who added the nuts to that statue!
And my personal favourite:
I have chortles!
this guy is quite funny.

i'm playing Borderlands great game and i know its a couple years old but it was on sale on PSN so i bought it. it beats COD hands down
sUPER mARIO sUNSHINE.
I've recently been playing the Ace Attorney games. I played them in the wrong order though. :P
Right now I've beaten the first one and Trials and Tribulations. I'm on the final case of Justice for All.
I picked up Saints Row: The Third today. Been playing it non-stop. Great game. I started off in the series with the second one, and I'll probably buy and play the first at some point. Volition is badass.
Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland. Everyone says I'm a baby when I say I like Kirby, but I don't really care. He DOES kick butt in SSBB (Also playing) though.
I don't understand how something as oldschool as Nightmare in Dreamland could ever be babyish. That's like saying those who like the original Super Mario are baby-ish, even though those who played it when it came out should be in their thirties about now.
Anyway, I've started playing Xenogears, and so far it's pretty good, though I usually am not a fan of sci-fi RPGs.
Kirby's epic yarn. EPIC.
Yes. I really liked this game; finding all of the collectables and getting all of the medals can be challenging at times. I always found it clever that that was the only real challenge, so younger audiences could just try to beat the end boss and say they won, while older audiences could actually get something out of it.
Just finished LOZ: Wind Waker. I wonder how Toon Link, the incarnation of link that has been deemed as too "cutesy" by some people, actually shoves his sword into ganon's face. What has gotten into kids these days?
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: the text-based game.
That's pretty cool. Does it follow the movie, radio show, tv series or books?
A brilliant question. Allow me to direct you to a passage of Douglas Adams' "A Guide to the Guide":
Or, a much shorter passage of that passage:
(Keep in mind that this was all written prior to the release of the fifth book)
And this is why Douglas Adams is so awesome.
Planning on getting back into MapleStory. For now, I'm playing Mario Party 9 (America got gypped on Kamek, since the NA version calls him by his species name of "Magikoopa" and not his official name), Animal Crossing:WW (forgot how easy it is to be poor on that!) and a restart of my Pokemon LeafGreen file. I have the weirdest team on LG...
I remember playing MapleStory a long time ago, and was kind of disappointed that the battle system which had so much potential for combos and things ended up being the same old spam the same buttons over and over again. Is it still like that?
I am currently playing Spore.
And Maplestory still uses the old spam the same button system.
Double post!
I just started a pokemon hack, "Pokemon Ash Gray." I'm completely hooked.
Try Flora Sky. It's really good.
light platinum, even better

I has X, Looking for Y stones, will trade for good stuff.
I recently beat Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes logic based games and is prepared to quite a bit of reading (or A-mashing).
two words:
trials. evolution.

Okay, yeah i think galladester's beaten everyone there: Trials Evolution. Pretty badass there. although something that i think might end up rivaling it: Minecraft. I've played some of it (just bits and pieces) and I like it. Though if you go to my xbox profile online you'll see the various games i've played (and that's not all the ones i've played on the 360 just the ones played online recently) oh and 1 original Xbox game in perfect condition.
Ironically the original Xbox game that i played was bought, literally, 2 days before the announcement of it's anniversary. Halo CE and Halo CE Anniversary. (I had played the 1st one about 2 or 3 months prior to him getting it on the 360, that is before my pc died cause I can't currently play the game till it's fixed.)

I needed a Wii to play Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn! D:
In other news, I managed to acquire a copy of Okami for Wii which I am loving.
I hear it's a great game (and i've seen parts of it too). As for the wii, okay i might agree with you galladester it might just be better to get a wii-u since it'll be compatible with the wii stuff...
crap: nvm--i need the wii cause brawl works with the GC controller better than the wii-mote (sorry but i love the classic style controllers).

I have become obsessed with Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. Lute is amazing. <3
Ah, just did an FE:SS draft a while ago. I didn't draft Lute but my Artur basically won me that draft. He was the only character I had that could destroy waves of things until I promoted Kyle, and then later on in the game I used his 25-26 Magic to warp Myrrh and managed to complete each of the last chapters in 1-3 turns.
Sacred Stones is a great Fire Emblem to start with. It also has a lot of similar mechanics to the newly released Fire Emblem Awakening.
Speaking of Fire Emblem Awakening, the game has been announced for localization! I won't have to import a Japanese version!
I'm doing an FE7 EHM draft right now. Once Pent gets that Warp Staff...
