Thanks for throwing this together. I added a 6th item to the list: splash screen/intro.

1. Overworlds for Male Hero
Design has been worked on...
However walking, running and direction sprites still needed.
2. Backsprites for Male Hero
Again been worked on but not completed
Also other sprites needed for the pokeball throwing animation. These can be used as a reference...
3. Bradley Overworlds
The design has been worked on...
But again walking and other directions still needed
4. Alisa Overworlds
Started by Will, still need sideways movement:
5. Interiors (Houses, Gyms etc.)
Neo Bay interiors are complete. The rest are yet to be done.
6. Ampure overworld Sprites
A key part of the catching tutorial involves an ampure overworld sprite. A start for the image, provided by Tyrannigon64:
7. Pokeball opening/Closing Animation sprite
Used for the introduction with Prof. Willow. Does not need to be custom-made.
8. Intro Screen
Needs to be resized or remade to 512x384. Also, each frame needs to be a separate image. Here are the originals:

That's more of an Animation than a graphic, though... Still, thanks for creating the thread and throwing things together for us. We can be disorganized at times.
We can as soon as I figure out how to make animations work, but there will be a giant block of black space on the bottom and the right of the screen.
A+! Looks great to me.
Yeah I like Alisa! If no one does the sideways ones soon then I guess I can take a shot.
We also appear to need some movement frames on this sprite:

Do you think the bag is necessary for Bradley's overworld?
Bradley's actually undergoing a concept rework. Bagless is how it looks to be going but for reference it would probably look something like this but with some sort of jacket-vest with a bunch of pockets from the last point of discussion I can find.
I've updated the OP with the latest needs for the demo; I'll likely take a crack at some of them later.
Here's some walking/running overworlds for the hero:
As for a splash/ title screen i can see we already have a title screen but i cant seem to find where the info for it was placed. At the moment im still searching for it but i wont really start it til i finish debugging the "get your pokemon" event from Bradleys appearance. im getting pretty close though. its done all the way until your asked to grab a pokemon off the table. All that still needs to be done is find an ampure sprite and fix a few minor issues.
The images for it were placed in the "Graphics\Titles" folder. Coding-wise, it'll be in the "main" script under "pbCallTitle". You can find a detailed description of how it works here: http://pokemonessentials.wikia.com/wiki/Game_intro
ok thanx, ive found it and i see that its just easier to rename the file than mess with the script. another issue is that our title screen is too small (needs to be 512x384) and resizing it just makes it look sloppy. the canvas size needs to be changed to the right size then move the image to the center and add something behind it to make it blend. maybe even merge those last two layers. another thing (really minor) is that the person who made the title screen image created layers so it could appear that the pokemon sign shined every few frames. i do not know how to change that so that it works though so a the moment its not happening. would be cool if that could be figured out. im still searching that myself.
Altered the OP to reflect that. Also, I did find this: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=300837
Might help with animating. Also, it would probably be good to have Jirachi's cry be the one played on the title screen, which that link describes how to do.
Thanx, huge help. ill try to make these changes now and ill comment if it worked
just realized that doing the animation is useless until the image is the proper size. im trying to find a way to fix that now.
Ive decided to just create my own background that fits the right size. only question is do i use our copyright 2010 or update to 2015. i have a version of each just in case
i assumed the same so i went ahead and created and attempted to make my own frame by frame animation of the logo glint. lets just say it didnt turn out right. so ill be using the image which is now the proper size and if anyone wishes to try to give the image a glint animation and save it by frame in .png format ill be more than glad to give you the image im using in all of its layers.
im not sure if this has been done but just wasnt added to the project anywhere but the in-party icons for all the pokemon in the Caldera/Kirant region are non-existant. the images should look similar to an overworld sprite but only two left facing images of the pokemon side by side in a 128x64 picture. also they should be slightly off so it appears its jumping like in the game we all know and love.
kk ill start the hunt then haha

Here's a few, are these what you are looking for?
EDIT: Might also be some here: http://www.pokemontopaz.net/forums/s...ighlight=icons
yea thats them, thanx. ig theyre just abit disordered atm haha. Thanx tho, that was a huge help.
I was looking through some official FRLG overworlds for an NPC when I happened to find an overworld that looked strikingly similar to the current Alisa overworlds.

Is this going to be fine or should it be changed?
That one looks good, although it's missing the sidewayswalking sprites.
It should be fine. In the case of overworld sprites you have so few pixels to work with that all of them end up looking pretty much alike. There are enough differences where it matters (clothes, and the bottom portion of her hair).
