Meh, worth a shot.

This was the one I remember making:
To avoid predators, SANDSHREW curls itself up to look like a small boulder. When intimidated, it burrows deep into the ground to escape its attacker.
SANDSHREW's rock hard skin protects it from most attacks. It is also known to smash into its enemies protected by its skin.
SANDSHREW's rock hard skin is not only a great defense, but can also be used for offense. Its back has tiny spines that feel like sandpaper and can hurt quite a bit.
To compensate for it's slow walking speed, SANDSHREW curls itself into a ball and rolls from location to location. It often gains enough speed to crash through the walls of houses.
I know there were others, but I can't remember them. Sorry.

I wanna go with pokepoindexters no.1
numbah 1
Pokepoindexter's makes more sense to me, so it has my vote.
Another 4-1 situation here, so it seems. Pending IB's decision.
I'd like to see a couple more options, myself. I'm not feeling the rush of a great entry yet.

not sure how good this one is, but figured i'd try....
"Quite a bit" is pretty vague if you ask me. There's also a couple little grammar errors and things.
ehh, i'm not the greatest at sentence grammar, and structure...

Heres another option for ya. I still like Pokepoindexters better.
Sandshrew:
SANDSHREW like to be in dry, warm climates. Often they are found burrowing underground in the Eye of Sand.
That good?
Not bad, just make sure to post it in the topic for the pokemon you are making an entry for.
SANSHREW has two layers of skin. The outer layer is very hard and protects it from the hot desert sun while the inner layer is surprisingly soft and delicate.
I tried.
Bland, but fine.
