Pokémon Topaz - Roothaven City

Roothaven is built among the roots of an enormous tree, which provides food for its carefree citizens. It is a spiritual gathering spot where people come to admire and appreciate nature. The Labyrinth allows trainers to have fun solving puzzles and competing with others for rewards. A tunnel is currently being built in the south to connect Roothaven and Saharan City, but it doesn't seem like it will be done any time soon.

Gym leader: Fernando
Said to be one of the most powerful Gym Leaders in the land, not because of his Pokémon's strength but rather because of the skill in which he uses them. He has an almost psychic connection to the flora and fauna of the Forests and he uses Grass-type Pokemon as a tribute and an acknowledgment of this gift.
