I've always thought that it would be hilarious if, for once, an email like this was real.

...Or, one of you who wants the number called could call it and share what happened.

    ~DOUBLE POST~

Some of my friends and I were standing outside the school, somehow on the topic of weapons. I was saying "I prefer lightsabers," but the "-abers" part got cut off when two girls charged through the middle of our group wielding (you guessed it) toy lightsabers. That sparks new ideas for my writing.
    ...
Anyway, I thought that it was a fairly strange coincidence.
    ...
    That is all.

Heh, I just had an idea that could have made decent novel fodder too, if I was writing fantasy for my Nano.

Something about a place where wishful actions (blowing out candles, eating folded chips) all make wishes come true, and people are forced to make wishes, because if they don't, they'd be silently wishing for annihilation. Or something. It made sense in context.

Hmm... sounds interesting. I'm not much a of a writer... perhaps I should explore that side of me some time...

On an irrelevant note, I feel like I'm pregnant from all of the food I've eaten in the past 3 hours. It's absurd.

    Default Happy birthday!!!!!

Since it's almost my birthday, I felt that I owed you guys a present. This is a short story I made. It's the final version, but I can still make changes. I guess that means that it is not really the final version, but right now it is.

    Please feel free to comment.

Wait a second, wasn't the birthday present thing supposed to be the other way around?

Oh, yeah, and before anyone asks, this is NOT a delayed Halloween present. I started it Tuesday, "finished" it Wednesday, added a line or so this morning, and edited it just before posting it. And it was ANNOYING trying to add the tags for italics and centering that I wanted to use after making it origionally.

Creepypasta has been creeping onto all the forums lately. Basically it's copy-pasted scary short stories pertaining to a particular topic. It's a non-4chan meme.

Yeah, my internet experience is basically restricted to Topax, Serebii, school reasearch, and a couple other sites. And of course Wi-Fi games. A couple flash games too. I have absolutely no idea how I found Topaz in the first place. I know enough to safely say that 4chan is not necesarily a G-rated website. And that one of my friend's friends (who I abhor) got banned.

I just hope that was some form of compliment.

Just had a second snow day in a row.
    Picture from my window:

The snow's at about knee height at the places where it hasn't been shovelled.

We got a foot of it in about an hour! That happened on Sunday, and most of the snow went away. Grrr... no snow days.

I get another one tomorrow. We hit waist height around noon today. But it finally STOPPED snowing, so we won't have any more. For now anyway.

We had a nice snow storm plow through last night. Alas, it didn't stick long enough for any delays. Waist height... that's crazy.

    I'd love waist height snow...

Reli, what's the chance that you could put some snow in a plane and fly it over here?

If you send a plane and plane over here, I'm sure I can find some drunk university kids to load it up for you.

Allegedly, the local newspaper has dubbed this "Snowmageddon", which I'm sure has been used all over the place. But literally everything was shut down over the past two days, even the libraries which was unfortunate considering people have exams this and next week. But everything has opened back up and I see blue sky for the first time since Sunday. It just needs to stay at this level until the 18th, then I can leave here and get to the bubble of spring that is my hometown. XD They mysteriously never get any snow despite everyone around them getting dumped on.

Sorry, my plane is in for repairs after some explosives took out the right wing and it crashed in Denali, Alsaka.

I think that your hometown is cursed. Who could have caused such a terrible thing to happen to your town?

We get snow. Just not Snowmageddon amounts of snow.

And its a shame about the plane.

Yeah, had to fire the pilot. Apparently he thought that there was a stowaway in the wing, and he has always been a bit trigger-happy on the C-4. NEVER waste my explosives. It is not a good choice.

There actually was a stowaway. Of course, he was in the other wing, and ended up the only person who got out uninjured. I think that he planned the explosion, because he was headed for Denali. He sent me a nice postcard with a moose on it. He was also kind enough to send a check for $5 to help pay for the repairs.

Vegan? I'd ease into it, not just go straight there. A lot of people can't do it because they can't get everything their body needs.

Yeah, I didn't shift straight into it either, it took me some time as well. I'm mainly doing it because I'm against the way animals are treated in factory farms.

I don't know about where you are, but I know that there are places where you can buy meat from a local farm, where the animals are treated better. Although the places tend to smell horrible inside...

Anyways, good luck becoming vegan. It can be difficult, but if you feel it is worth it, go for it.

I will become a vegan (or at least a vegitarian) as soon as pork, chicken, and beef grow on trees. Its coming. No doubt. (Turkey would nice, too.)

Anyways, I could use a bit of help. I'm working on an adaptable short story. Once I finish, I'd like a few people to read over it, help to edit it. I can't really get anyone I know to do it, because for the most part, they just compliment it, which doesn't help. I hope to have it ready for editing within 24 hours.

There is one restriction for editors; the following list of items must seem random. Enclosed in a spoiler because it is relavent to the story.

    Great!

But it is going to be a while. Unexpected problems (spent two days watching ice thrown off of the roof at me).
