I refuse to even attempt to come up with a reason for my shameful absence. Let's just agree that I will be around and that I haven't died. Yet.

    I'm back.

Fun adventures. Found a piece of a late-18th-century ship. Went to a sci-fi convention. There was a person wearing a Zoroark costume there, which was pretty cool. Also a person wearing a Kyogre costume. She looked more like a cosplayer, but it was really cool. There was also a person wearing a yellow raincoat claiming to be pikachu.

One last thing; I hate sand now.

    Welcome back, Irot!

I know it isn't what you were referring to, but I hear this all day. Ugh Gen 5 OU weather starters and their 'bros'.

Irot, just post an awesome composition and you get insta-god status again.

Was the Kyogre/Zoroark costumes like a gijinka or a fursuit?

The Kyogre was a gijinka (I think) (it was basically like a kyogre-themed kimono), and the Zoroark was a fursuit.

And now I'm back from New York. I did all the stuff that a tourist has to do in New York; we were in Time Square, saw the Statue of Liberty, saw a couple of Broadway musicals, and I got an I<3NY shirt.

Which musicals did you see? My parents are going in October and would be grateful for recommendations.

I saw How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Wicked. Both were great, and I'd recommend both, but I kind of liked How to Succeed more.

Man, Wicked is probably my favourite musical in existence. I saw it in Toronto, so it might have been different. I'll pass on the recommendation of How to Succeed. Thanks!

Also, I'm going off to university so my activity in the next few weeks will likely be sparse, unfortunately. I'll try to get on as much as possible especially since I really want to begin the pokemon.txt file as a bona fide Topaz project to get us really going again. Otherwise, wish me luck!

I feel like I should be here to help Topaz in its hour of need. I can't say how much I can do, but I'll try.

    Indeed. *accalades*

My Orientation Week duties end tomorrow, so I should be back on at my usual amount. I'll make up for these last few dry weeks though.

I managed to secure a position in the stage crew for a show, so that means my free time has been limited such that the time I spend on Topaz directly correlates with how much sleep I get (this is until October 8th). I'll still do my utmost to get pokemon.txt going soon but forgive me if certain things are delayed a bit.

Hey, OWC here! I used to be a regular member of the old forums but then left for a very long time (I came back months ago with Fernando concept art but lacked a scanner). I've become more focused on amateur voice acting but in-between that, work, and video games I will try to make time to draw up some concepts!

Most of the people here, myself included, haven't been around the whole time. But yes, the project has been going since 2005.
