well i've been on here before i just havent gotten around to rejoining due to the changes in the site recently...

well while i've been away i've started work on my own pokemon site but it's still currently under construction so i cant give out the url just yet...
eventually i do want to let others know about the url but it'll have to wait until we can get certain things up and running...

it will include a few guides/walkthroughs for the games but it'll go from the advance games to the ds...
it will also include a competitive battling section for those who wish to become competitive battlers or become better at it...

i'm still learning a bit of it too so those who take a look at the section to try it out won't be alone...

Starting up a Pokemon site is no easy task. You'll need to try to find something unique to offer your visitors to distinguish yourself from the thousands of other Pokemon sites out there.

i know i've got a few friends helping me set it up...
i'm trying to look at several other sites to see what i can do to get members for my site but for now it's going to stay hidden from most till i can get enough of it up and running which i know will be a while...
hopefully it wont take too long but who knows...

when the site gets to a point where i can start accepting others i'll start telling others the url for it...
which reminds me would i be allowed to affiliate my site with this one some time later???
i dont need an answer now but i was just curious is all...

If I was going to guess, I'd say you probably could once your site is up and running, and you have a fairly strong community. From what I can tell, sites affiliate with other sites that they see as places that aren't run by noobs and have been around for a little while.

Dearest Friends,
I am going to be taking an extended break from Topaz until I can clear my mind fully and concentrate. My girlfriend and I are having major problems and I cannot guarantee that my work quality will be nothing short of superb. There's the possibility this is also my final farewell. If that is the case, good luck to all of you and best wishes in all of your future endeavors. There are truly talented people at this site, and my only advice is to stick to what you love... never give it up for anything.

I can also do a few basic effects like when you're spotted by any character except a standard trainer, and I might be able to do cries in Audacity, thanks!
